Oh no!!! Such a sad thought!

Anything is possible right now. I’m not sure if Mutsuki and Aura are aware of the fact that Touka is the “Rabbit” ghoul or how much she was involved in the Cochlea battles (Shinsanpei might be harboring a nasty grudge on her as well as Kaneki if that is the case). However, in addition to harming Kaneki right in front of her, Mutsuki did make it more personal by bringing Yoriko into the picture so it could really go anywhere.

I do hope Kaneki and Touka will both manage to protect one another from that future outcome though and are able to stay together (and save Yoriko so she and Touka can reunite!)
