Opal’s Adopted Fathers Stephano and Lucy are high-class Reapers for the council of the cycle. Growing up his father Stephano taught him all about the rules, ways, and power reapers can possess, if trained and studied right. Stephano is also who taught Opal the way of seals and how to create them soundly, while Lucy trained opal in the physical ways of a reaper; including how to wield his blade with confidence, peer and slip through the veils with ease, and how to avoid getting in trouble when slipping out of bounds.
