Glancing up & seeing the other walking down the street alone, still in uniform & sticking out like a sore thumb, he waved at the other with his free hand, the other occupied by an umbrella which he’d just opened due to the beginning sprinkle. “Hey.”

It was so humid out, he honestly didnt care if he got all wet. Rain would be a blessing right now. Gods, did he hate the heat. It did nothing for him. Nothing except make him cranky, crabby and prone to passing out.

Saruhiko had just glanced up when he saw a familiar tall figure waving him down. Approaching the brunet, he stood close under the umbrella and just escaping the sudden pouring rain.

"Hey. What are you doing out here...? I thought you were inside today."

It'd been a long humid day and he was tired of having to be on patrol. Why couldnt he get a car? With AC? But no, seems that was way too much to ask for.

The ravenet sighed harshly, furrowed brows as he shoved his hands in his pockets and made his way down the long sidewalk. He had separated from the rest of today's squad because they were way too chatty. The worst thing was that they kept referring to him as sempai. Saruhiko looked up at the ugly gray sky, the first initial trickles of rain starting to tap at the cement.
