BluePunk drabble for @punkeropercyjackson

BluePunk is Summer's name for Siblings!Hobie Brown and Percy Jackson, who is transfemme here

Percy was making dinner for her siblings Nico and Hazel when she heard the sound of a portal in the living room behind the singing of Gerard Way. “Hola, Hobie! Did you come hungry?” She shouted, assuming it was her third sibling. When her music was paused and skinny arms wrapped around her back, she knew she was right.

“Yeah, could use an Everton too.” Hobie let go of Percy to put a pot of coffee on and sat up on the counter. “Blue pancakes?”

“It was Mami’s go-to on Monday nights! We always have extra, so there’s plenty, but Hazel is with Peni and Nico is out seeing if anyone needs spidey-help, so we need to make sure to save some for when they get home.”

“O’ course, o’ course! Don’t think we can eat all of it anyway. Need help though?”

“Not really. I don’t like cooking in silence though, so if you want to talk or sing or play some music any of that would be great.”

Hobie hummed in acknowledgment, and it soon turned to the opening riff of Basket Case. Thalia had introduced him to the band one day when she was at the Jackson house, and this particular song of theirs was Hobie’s favorite of the bunch. It reminded him of Percy, who hummed along as she flipped a pancake with the perfect flick of her wrist. They continued like that for half an hour, Hobie singing as they kicked their legs and Percy humming along as she cooked.

When they were down, the two Spider-Punks went to the living room couch, leaning on each other as they ate. “These are great, Perce, thanks for making dinner.”

“That’s what big sisters do, we take care of our little siblings.” She booped his nose as if it helped with her point, and Hobie laughed.

“Well, you’re great at it.”

Percy hummed in confirmation. “I know it.”

They’re so silly goose..

- they both have perfect singing voices for hard punk music but in different ways. Percy can hit high notes only audible to dolphins and Hobie can and will make himself sound like he drinks crushed cigarettes

- Hobie smokes while Percy does edibles it just makes sense 2 me..

- style wise I like to think Hobie incorporates more metal and industrial stuff while Percy goes for more nature related things like cowrie shells

- Hobie does at home piercings and sometimes Percy helps

Out of Eden has been on hold for 10 years now LMAO I remember drafting the chapters in my school notebook omg good times. I have a strong urge to actually finish the fic but my writing has gone rusty. I guess I’ll just stick to drawing 🧎🏻‍♀️

They made each other matching patches for their spidersuits! It's a spider with one of those spirally hermit crab shells (that's also the unofficial logo for Sally's store in the spiderverse)

They team up to tease and care for Nico and Hazel

Lowkey wanna say Hobie is a demigod, in which case they teach each other about the world they're less aquainted with (Hobie is probably a child of Aphrodite? I can also see Demeter or Dionysus)

I feel like I don't have many so sorry about that but here you go!
