Reading the text had just made her sigh. Of course there was no cover; the rain probably came from Juvia herself. Leaving her apartment with her jacket and a extra she began to walk around. It took a while before she saw the stumbling rain mage. Approaching her lightly as she cleared her throat.
“Juvia. There you are... jeez, you’re a mess.”

Gray sighed mildly as he sat at the bench in the guild hall. Today was boring, with Flame brain gone, Levy on a job and everyone else seemingly busy - it left him all alone at the guild. At least in their group of friends, and he had no jobs planned. He actually missed the fighting right now.

I’m glad that it ended up working.. and I hope the date was everything you wished for.. just like.. just like..” another moment of silence; adjusting phone sounds with sniffles. “Just like you were everything I wished for. My mind is darting everywhere right now and I’m sorry I said that.. It just came out.. Natsu and I are lost and we decided to set up for camp.. I don’t know if we’ll make it back to the Guild.. I only even went on this job because I wanted to get enough to ask you on a proper date and come clean but...”
Another long pause as sobs could be heard.
“But I don’t know if we’ll make it, Juvia... My words aren’t coming out right but what I’m trying to say.. is I’m happy for you. Good luck, and hopefully you realize I was never trying to rival against you for Gray but against Lyon and Gray for your love...”
And the voicemail ended; nothing more and nothing less.
