To go along with my recent post the other day, here is the Timelapse for SPD Blue Ranger! Had a lot of fun trying a new process this time around for the piece and think I'm finally nailing a style for my ranger drawings!

Sparking Blue

"...... NANTAI! ......."

A queit Namekian warrior, this mysterious individual is actully just really, really shy. It's to the point where bandages obscure most of his face because he's scared of people looking at him. One has to wonder why such a character even joined the Sparking Fighterz in the first place. While some details aren't all that important to discuss, what is, is that Nantai was saved by a hero when he was a child, and despite his extreme anxiety, strives to live up to that standard. Despite coming off as creepy, watching from behind corners, and hiding in the shadows, he is a genuinely kind person working to overcome his nerves, and help those in need; even going so far as to join Citrine for a mission to research investigate strange happenings. Even still, he hasn't gotten used to proper communication yet; but it will not stop him from shouting his name, and other stuttering gibberish, in the name of all that is good!

Named after the Japanese word for mollusk, nantaidoutsu, Nantai is our lanky, blue ranger for the team. Givrn he's a Namekian, he of course wears weighted armor for boots and cuffs, even being able to use one to store his Capsule. While he was originally a simple do-gooder, I added the crippling shyness to flesh him out a bit more, and add a bit of a twist on the 'mystery fighter' gimmick. He's probably my fovorite in the team, and I hope you guys love him too! (Just not too much, because, you know, he's nervous.) Also, in case you're asking 'why isn't he green?'..... Shhhh
