That’s good, except it’s percentages, and not decimals. Common Core separates this out so distinctly.

Yay! What will he be doing until then?

He just has 1 prereq class left for grad school, so we opted to push it off until spring because a) baby; b) chagim; c) he can’t get resident tuition til after October and non-resident is twice as much per credit; and d) the grad programs he’s looking at don’t start til summer or fall, so it won’t delay anything.

In the meantime he plans to take the GRE, do some mandatory volunteer hours related to the grad program, and work on his grad school applications. I imagine he’ll find some other ways to keep himself busy as well. Plus, you know, baby. Besides the initial adjustment/bonding, he will probably be with the baby full time for a brief span between when I go back to work and when the spring semester starts.

it’s such a crazy feeling

I’ve been able to feel it for 8-9 weeks already, but it’s usually just a few minutes of intermittent movements a few times a day. For the past 24 hours or so it’s been practically all the time (other than when I was asleep - but I felt it while trying to fall asleep and right when I woke up this morning). Kid’s having a party or something.

Why liquid as opposed to supplementing in pill form? It would be easier to consume I’d think and you’d get the same amount of iron.

I was told by the midwife that I should take it as a liquid because it absorbs better. Also I’ve taken iron pills in the past and it caused digestive tract issues, but the liquid hasn’t so far. There’s a different liquid iron that’s also kosher that I’ve been told doesn’t taste so bad, but it also has other things in it, among them B6, which I am not keen to increase given my prior issues with it.

I mean, maaaaaaaaybe if we’re talking about a kallah but otherwise yes who wants their mother around on mikvah night?

Yeah I mean I brought my kallah teacher along that first time for moral support (she stayed out in the waiting room), whereas I’d never tell her when mikvah night is now unless I had a kallah teacher question about it, so maybe some FFBs would want to bring mom that first time in a similar capacity. But that’s totally different because unless you had a chuppas niddah, you aren’t going home to your husband afterwards. It’s not at all the same type of declaration about your private activities as an ordinary mikvah night.
