Hard Times Blues by Ethan Steele
Do you participate in No-Nut November? Well if you do and have certain downstairs plumbing that resembles an eggplant, please think about the people in your life who want some sweet, sweet…banana. They needs y’knowl.. Just look at how broken up Aideen is about the not being able to fill her fruit basket….and I guess Kathryn is angry too and will probably put embarrassing pictures on your phone. So please think before you deny them (and yourself) that hot dog. Churn that butter and l clean out those pipes.
(Oh Kat, I guess I’m going to have to make this up to you. I just have to figure out how. Anyone got suggestions? ;D )
Me and the Devil was walking side by side
A little Ravenloft Blues
So I came up with this song for a character I’m working on - he’s connected to Barovia because reasons - and since he’s a bard, I figured he needed some music. Lo and behold I start freestyling in the shower and come up with something. I have the lyrics below because I know I’m going to forget it if I don’t write it down and put it SOMEWHERE
Aibel’s Song:
The rain will fall, and the fog rolls in
Are you still here with me, my friend?
The rain will fall, and the fog rolls in
But the sun will come up in the morning
It’s so cold and I’m tired as hell
The fog rolls in and I’m tired as hell
Let’s just sit together and wait a spell
And get on up in the morning
I wish we could leave, take a long, long ride
But the devil’s here and he will bleed you dry
With his coldest smile, and his burning eyes
But we’ll get up again in the morning
The devil rules with an iron fist
He’ll have us on our knees and we can’t resist
But the sun will rise and cut through the mist
Let’s get up and go in the morning
