Watching a gimmick blog get BlueSkied, which is what I'm going to call the phenomenon where an entity that began by posting jokes is slowly and inexorably dragged away from comedy by an audience demanding they post about politics or social justice topics more and more (so everyone knows they pass the social purity test), and any attempt to stray back to jokes is course-corrected back to serious topics.
#particular form of liberal swarming where nobody is allowed to have any fun because there's this constant need for reassurance-#that the funnyguy online is safe to laugh at because they believe all the right things#which they can only know via constant interrogation and so the funnyguy can't be funny because there's not enough room between poli posts#BlueSkied
