After a rather rough arrival (dropping from the sky was never a particularly enjoyable form of transportation), Ratchet had slowly begun to navigate a unique world, full of both vibrant color and shadow. He originally intended to clean up a bit and scan a suitable robotic form to avoid suspicion, but after realizing the only traces of technology appeared to be aged and unused for quite some time, he was left to remain as he was and kept the scuffs and smudges in an effort to resemble them.
... As best as a Cybertronian vehicle on an entirely different world without vehicles can.
Yet, simply keeping his biolights off and remaining still and silent when he detected lifeforms nearby worked reasonably well, and he slowly deciphered a few basics of the local language. The process was unfortunately much slower without an extensive technological source to connect to and learn at a rapid speed, but he was still making progress.
Stealth continued as cycles passed, and distant sensors alerted him to another being once again, causing him to fall silent and immobile. When they appeared, he noted that this particular individual looked... different, than others... Perhaps an uncommon lifeform on this world?
