I’m having very severe pms currently which include strong af emotions and I got curious how other cultures worked through pms and instead I just keep finding versions of this headline and now I’m fucking crying so

I’m just going to blame pms on what I’m about to say real quick because I am to my bones angry and hurt right now. And I know a lot of it is fueled by the fact that I’m a woman, who’s not pregnant, who’s body is getting ready to shed her uterine lining and isn’t that actually the most interesting thing in the world???? Women were held back from so much education not only of their bodies but for their minds. Imagine if we had more women scientists during the age when they were studying anatomy. Imagine studies on blood flow and clots and cramps and hormones but for some goddamn reason an entire gender was skipped over because….because why?? For the past 10 years there are news articles and blog posts all saying the same thing….”women’s health is under researched..someone should do something about that”: some studies are being completed and new methods are being found specifically for women but it will take years to catch up……especially on birth and menstruation…I don’t want to to be negative because there are new studies coming out on things but clinical trials and tests take fucking years and goddamn it im feeling the rage of the past hundreds of years

Men just loved women’s bodies but hate learning about them huh.

Love - is said to be the overused word from the dictionary. You use it when you need something. Does it really find you or does it wait to be found? I think of love as something special, extravagant, and magical. Like it’s all sunshines & glitters. You meet ‘that’ someone & then you live happily ever after like all fairytales had taught us. But like every fairytales, the love of this kind is just a speck of imagination. Total fictional. As for love don’t always get its way. When you love, it means to hurt a little or feel pain alongside with it. Love has so many of it’s kind in this world, your luck if you have the right love at the right time. 🙂

(So today, I watched this movie entitled, “How to Be Single” a screenshot of it from Twitter persuaded me & the rest is history.) PS. Okay. I’m still crying…
