I just did a bisexual books giveaway! I don't know a lot about all of these, but I wanted to share the list of books I was giving away from that I know feature female bisexual leads. ♥ Reply to this and I can send the list.

Blue, you’re a wonderful human being! 

When I answered that first ask about bi protagonists I was half asleep and on my way to work, so I couldn’t put the time and effort into it that I wanted to. Blue’s created an amazing list (and giveaway!) of books with bisexual characters. 

I read quite a few of these, and they were fantastic. Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, for example, if my favourite book of 2017. Queens of Geek is the book I mentioned in the original ask, and is a very fun, heartfelt read! Nevernight is an absolutely amazing fantasy read, as is A Darker Shade of Magic. Noteworthy and Carry On are both a lot of fun as well.

Yes. She’s my friend and I love her, even when we don’t agree on things. And I don’t have a way to contact her outside of Tumblr either, and I’m worried about her because of how everyone is acting.

So @lived-a-thousand-lives created a trying to revive booklr tag and I was tagged in it! So here we go

Which book are you reading right now?

I bought Empire of Storms by S J Maas so I decided to reread the series. This time around I have The Assassin’s Blade and I have started that. I have been in a reading slump off and on for a while though so I have not made too much progress!

What’s the best beverage when reading?

I love drinking coffee or hot tea while reading. Something about a mug just feels right.

What’s your favourite book quote?

Are you looking forward to a certain book release? If yes, which one?

The first that comes to mind is Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman though there are many others.

What’s your Hogwarts house?

According to pottermore, I am Slytherin and Thunderbird. 

If you could get on a plane right now, where would you go? (And yes, fictional places are good as well. You could also travel via wardrobe/ train/ etc.)

Diagon Alley. I am now in a Harry Potter mood.

What’s your favourite holiday read?

Harry Potter! I’m due for a reread, anyone want to join me? :D

When do you put your Christmas decorations up? 

I live in the US so people start in on Christmas a bit too early for my taste here. I like to put my decorations up after Thanksgiving, so basically the end of November/December 1st.

I wanted to add to your conversation about buying local etc. So here in Canada the other major language is French, and some preliminary looking shows that French books are (for the most part) more expensive than English ones.

It doesn't seem to be a large difference, but it is definitely there. Other popular languages like Tagalog or any of the Indigenous languages are impossible to get locally.

That’s so sad. I mean, it’d be amazing to have books available in all languages spoken there. It also stands to show that there are a lot of motivating factors that determine where someone gets their books and why.
