Julie was out on a salvage. Things like this were not as essential now, since the wall had been broken down and the living could traverse the previously unpassable plains to places that couldn't before be visited. But there were things that still had to be sought, especially medicine There are some things that just don't grow on trees. She'd come out on her own - probably a stupid idea but she just wanted some space to think. Both R and Nora had protested, but Julie had shouted down their arguments after a while. The zombies were curing themselves and she and R had been the start of all that. So yeah, there were a few bloodthirtsy stranglers roaming about. But they could be easily handled.
Her footsteps echoed on the pavement and she looked up at the sky. It was perfectly clear, like, the kind of clear that made you question whether things like clouds and space really existed. It reminded her of a young zombie, who had chosen the name of the colour because of this kind of day. Julie sighed and kicked a can on the ground.
"Come out, come out wherever you are..." She said quietly to herself, laughing at how relaxed she could be outside Citi Stadium now. Because of the cure.
