Celebrian had spent the morning with her husband in council and was relishing the break, however brief, by sitting out in the sun. She let her eyes drift closed to enjoy the sun’s warmth. Even in late autumn the sun always seemed to be pleasantly warm in Imladris. She hummed to herself softly as she felt her body relax, these were the moments she loved. 

Her humming was interrupted by a smile when she felt familiar fingers playing in her hair, “Good morning, Elrohir. I’m surprised you aren’t off with your brother causing trouble somewhere.” She opened her eyes and turned to her eldest son. “Is everything well, ‘Roh?”

Celebrian adores children, like just loves taking care of them. Of course that tends to mean encouraging them to climb trees and go on long walks in the woods, but that’s beside the point. She has always wanted kids. Her love for children is probably the only reason she didn’t totally panic when she realized she was having twins.
