I don’t have any moots but I’m gonna talk abt Lorelei

Lorelei is my favorite oc

I haven’t worked on my ox lore for very long bc I’ve always struggled finding a story that’s peaked my interest but like this one has

My oc world is basically just a world called Jordana that’s decided into 6 tribes that were seperated many years ago due to conflict between the men of Jordana

The men got greedy and violent so the gods of Jordana bestowed power upon their wives to resolve this conflict

There was

Earth

Air

Water

Fire

Plants

Energy

Once the conflict was resolved and Jordana returned to peace the world was split in 6

Every 100 years a new girl in each tribe would be born and be trusted and destined to hold these powers in case Jordana would ever need it again

Im focusing on the time when my 6 main oc’s are the holders

Earth - Mariella

Air - Eleanore

Water - Cordelia

Fire - Adeline

Plants - Lorelei

Energy - Jillenne

The oc I spend most time on is Lorelei

Her story is basically that her parents were desperate for a child that they never seemed to be able to have. The years went by and their time ran out. Her mother was devastated and turned to the gods of Jordana for help

She ends up getting mixed up with a sketchy god that tricks her into making a deal where she would be pregnant and have her baby without telling her that it would mean her life would be taken.

So she makes the deal and doesn’t tell anybody and dies during child birth

This leads to Loreleis father resenting her and seeing her as the reason the love of his life is dead.

As Lorelei grows up the small village on the plant tribe she lives in notices her for her beauty and soon the word makes it to the captial of the earth tribe where the son of the king and queen decides to make her his wife.

Multiple men had approached loreleis father before asking for her hand in marriage but he always said no because he didn’t want to give her away despite his harsh feelings towards her. But with the promise of money from this prince loreleis father caves and agrees.

Lorelei however has fallen in love with a boy named Elijah

Elijah comes from a different earth village and he sneaks out often to see Lorelei behind her fathers back.

When Lorelei learns her father has promised her away she sneaks out one last time to meet Elijah without telling him about the news. They share one last sentimental kiss before he asks her to meet him again tomorrow.

Lorelei returns home knowing her wedding is the next day.

Her father is asleep and the more she thinks the more she freaks out. She finally reaches her limit and runs off

Its dark and the ground is moist and Lorelei doesn’t know where she’s going.

Suddenly she walks off a cliff due to her hazed mind and foggy eyes and as she’s falling she’s accepting her faith and losing all hope. That’s when a vibe wraps around her wrists and stops her from hitting the ground

Confused and scared she lets go landing knee first on the rocky terrain, removing all of the skin from her knees leaving her with scars from years to come.

This is how she figures out she’s the plant power holder

The wedding is cancelled and her father sends her away to the water tribe for the meeting of the other holders. He never welcomes her back home and Lorelei can’t find Elijah for years to come

There’s a lot more coming to her story but this is at the very least the start 😛

Mini Cordelia lore dump

So basically it’s obviously the same world as Lorelei is in

Cordelia is the chosen holder of the water powers at the time of my story. She’s had a normal childhood within her tribe in her normal family with her parents and two siblings.

One day when Cordelia is around 12 she joins her father in showing a group of people from the fire tribe around their island.

This is when Cordelia first meets Adeline (fire element holder)

They hit it off and become friends quickly.

Adeline and her family planned to stay on the island for a while which left her and Cordelia a lot of time to spend together.

One day as they were talking by the docks Adeline’s father attacks her, as a shocked reaction Adeline’s powers are discovered and she ends up harming Cordelia, burning off the skin on her shoulder.

The only way for the elemental holder to find out they’re the one chosen is to have been put in a dangerous situation that reveals their power.

Because of the state of shock of being burned and realizing Adeline is the fire holder nobody noticed the fact that Cordelia’s powers surfaced at the same time.

Cordelia holds onto resentment towards Adeline for years to come and goes a long while without realizing she’s the water element holder.

The water tribe grows impatient with no discovered holder and it isn’t until years later when Adeline gets pushed in the water by accident everyone realizes she’s the holder.

After this every elemental holder travels to the water tribe where Adeline and Cordelia reunite. Adeline feeling guilt and Cordelia feeling rage.

They’re my little doomed yuri 😛

Lorelei ends up living with Cordelia due to Loreleis father basically dipping on her

And that’s basically Cordelia

She’s my second favorite behind Lorelei
