The fact that people ship Toons and Humans really disturbs me

Didn’t we realize what the whole DW plot was about??? Humans making Toons and using them for entertainment, barely anything happening to regulate things until it got insanely out of control, abandoning them once nothing was left to be saved because humans only saw them as mascots? Entertainment? Characters?

I absolutely hate that people think Rodger is Toodles actual dad. Its states he’s a PARENTAL FIGURE, but not an actual gaurdian. If its a headcanon, I don’t mind, I tend to see them often, but once people portray it as a FACT it really gets to me

Part of Toodle’s character is that she ALSO doesn’t have parents. Its why she doesn’t know a lot of things (Asking if Vee can swim despite being electronic) and has trouble fitting in.

I know some people will say gourdy has it worse, and I don’t like to compare them because they’re on the same boat and coping differently because of their circumstances. Gourdy HAD parents, but they weren’t made. It causes him to be stuck on those parents and unable to properly and comfortably find a parental figure, it causes guilt. But he still gets to learn and have that extra care because he’s a main. With Toodles, she never even had the concept of parents (as far as we know). Since she’s only an uncommon toon, she has to earn that attention and worth. It seems a little silly to say, but you have to remember that the Toons were raised off that heirarchy and its sort of ingrained into their own society after Gardenview shuts down.

I really wish people would care about Toodles as much as Gourdy. They’re very similar. They both want to prove themselves, they both want parents, they both have egos. They’re just children processing trauma differently.

Writing? I could, i’ve thought about it, I’ve sort of wanted to. But I have HUGE motivation issues and the chances of this happening are slim.

Art to tell the story? Plausible maybe. This is debatable. I wouldn’t mind drawing a bit for it if someone asked, and if my sib ever gets interested again I’ll make sure to post it if they please.

I’m glad people like the idea!! Though, thats all the AU is at the moment. An idea. Feel free to try and expand on your own though!

People who design the mains all skinny hurt me

Astro MUST be stupidly scrawny. Even if he has some belly this dude still squirms around he cannot be buff or lean or ANY OF THAT

Dandy and bobette are canonically fat. And I think Dandy wiuld be very short and stout meanwhile bobette is big and strong and besutiful

Shelly is an all-rounder methinks. I like to think shes more lean, she works with digging bones anyway

Vee HAS to be fat and short or else I am burning someones house down. What do you mean. You wsnt to make Vee??? Tall skinny and besutiful?? That is a game show host main character from the 1990s she will NOT be purposefully attractive she is meant to have some grime and gunk

Sprout, I could care less actually, I LOVE SEEING HIM AS A NERD but it also pleases me to see him as like. A farmer. I’ve actually yet to see a fat sprout. But I’m not entirely against it

Bassie is the only one I see being super skinny. Like she is a delicate little flower ouuhhh yess ouhhh delicate blows away in the wind

And gourdy. I actually see him as anything but aside from bodytype I do think he’d be more of a tween than a kid like Toodles
