I start out with using a good moisturizer to lighten up and prime the face. I’ve been loving this Origins GinZing™ Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer. I actually received this in a sample bag from a Sephora order, and have been using it ever since. With the moisturizer, I find that a little bit goes a long way. It is super hydrating, smells like oranges and makes you feel and look more awake. Using this moisturizer for the past month, I have felt an improvement in the smoothness of my face, especially on my cheeks.
I talked about this next product in my Beauty products I recommend.post a few months ago, when I had first purchased it and instantly recommended it to everyone because it is so good! This is my Born This Way Natural Radiating Concealer, in the shade deep tan. I always apply my concealer before foundation, because I have learned from trying it both ways that using concealer prior to foundation evens out the skin. I apply my concealer under my eyes and around my eyebrows. I blend it out using my real techniques sponge and I always spot conceal any blemishes.
When I have a little more time and I feel like a little more coverage I apply, lightly, my Mac Matchmaster SPF 15 Foundation in the shade 6. This shade matches my skin and neck perfectly and it’s because of the technology behind the “Matchmaster” that it blends seamlessly to master the match. This is my favorite foundation, it doesn’t oxidize or appear cakey and thick like a lot of other foundations. On a more fancy day, you can build the coverage of this foundation from light to medium to full which is one of the best things about it. I also blend this out using my real techniques sponge.

I recently received this Blush Bazaar, Amazonian Clay Blush Palette from my sister for Christmas. It comes with seven matte blushes, one blush that has some shine to it, and two highlighters. All the colors are super light and wearable for a quick makeup day. I just use my Sephora 204 face brush to apply them lightly to bring some color to my look. My favorite combination is using that top right shade in the first photo authentic as a blush with the sculpt side of the brush on my cheeks. And then adding in worthy which is the top left shade in the first photo worthy as a highlight on all the usual places for highlight. Then I will also dust some in the inner corner of my eyes. Unless it’s a more fancy day, then I’ll apply eyeshadow – if you want me to do a post on eyeshadow looks just leave a comment below!

This Mascara is the absolute best drugstore Mascara there is Lash Paradise in the shade 201 Black. It does all the things Mascara should, it lengthens the lashes darkens them and separates them. To add the perfect amount of volume and length. I also love the packaging, for a drugstore product, it looks pretty high end and expensive.

No matter the amount of makeup I’m wearing I always like to apply lip balm, these two work great either the Saje tingle lips or the Fresh Sugar Lip Caramel Hydrating Balm. I recommend the one from Saje if you’re lips are completely chapped because it smoothes them, a bit better. The Fresh one is great for when you want to maintain it, and it tastes super good.
On top, I like to apply any of my Revlon Ultra HD Matte Liquid Lipsticks. The shade above is kisses. All of them are super pigmented and matte, they wear super nicely and Revlon has an amazing shade range of different liquid lipstick colors. I also find that they are super lightweight on, which is ideal for any lipstick.
A while ago I got some sample Elizabeth Arden lip glosses and the shade Iridescent Mauve looks great on top of either of those matte Revlon colors, so you can always add a little gloss on top, to add some shine to the look.
And those are all the steps! I hope you guys take away something from this post, whether it be a brand, product or simply a technique to cut down some time in the mornings. See you in my next one!
