how did the brooding, nonchalant megumi end up here? in a lingerie store with dimmed lights, colorful garments everywhere you look, lacy lingerie hanging on the white mannequins, and a sweet floral fragrance lingering in the air.
it all started with you glancing at him with those glimmering eyes and pointing your pretty finger at the store, so sweetly asking “gumi, can we go inside?” and megumi was a weak, weak man when it came to you. how can he ever say no to you?
so now he’s awkwardly sticking by your side as you look through the various panties. and where is he looking? he keeps his eyes trained on the floor like he’s having a staring contest with it. until you hold up a pair of baby pink panties with a cute charm on it. “oooo! this is cute, gumi! what do you think?” you ask excitedly as you hold it against yourself. he examines you with an unreadable expression before lowly muttering, “sweetheart, you already know what i’m thinking.” a girly giggle bubbles out of you as you continue looking through the panties section. he insists on holding your pieces for you as you shop contently with him by your side.
a few minutes later, megumi suddenly starts to become helpful out of nowhere… as you browse through the bras, he disappears. you take your time admiring before he suddenly reappears with a light pink, floral embroidered bra and panties set in your sizes. he hands them to you, asking quietly, “what do you think, baby? these would suit you.” your eyes widen in amazement as you admire the set and promptly added it to the shopping bag.
after filling the shopping bag, you two head to the checkout. "next in line!" the cashier calls out. the employee scans the items as you make light conversation with her, showering her in endearing compliments. megumi smiles adoringly at you because he thinks you're a real charmer, the cutest flatterer with your candied words and darling compliments that you throw around like confetti. the employee rings up your total and megumi pays with his card wordlessly, as if it's the most natural thing to do. to him, it is the most normal thing. after all, he loves to spoil his pretty girl.
after securing the goodies, he holds onto the shopping bag for you and you hug his other arm as the two of you walk out the store. you beam at him and express your gratitude. "hehhehe, thank you, gumi!! i'll be sure to give you a fashion show at home later!" the corners of his mouth lifts ever so slightly as he leads the way back to his car, and replies with a "yeah? i'm looking forward to it then, angel."
