If there was one thing in life that Steve was addicted to, it was your lips. Specifically: your lips on his. He had ditched the alcohol and the cigarettes right after you had agreed to go on a date with him. That first kiss had sealed the deal for him. Who needed to drown in beer when you could drown in soft sweet kisses? It was beginning to become a problem, not for you or Steve of course, but for the rest of your friends. They could all see the way Steve's eyes found their way back to your lips in the middle of a conversation. He was not subtle, he was outright loud about it and had zero shame. He would stare and stare and stare at your lips, licking his own as his mind conjured past memories.
It had gotten to a point where Keith had practically banned you from stepping foot into Family Video for more than 5 minutes. More than once had Steve knocked over a new display or recently organized stack of movies because he couldn't stop looking at your lips as you conversed with Robin. So now, you could only come into the store if you actually needed to get a movie or if you were BRIEFLY dropping something off for Steve.
While your friends found the whole obsession ridiculous and downright annoying at times, you thought it was just the sweetest thing. You adored the way he would steal kisses from you when he thought no one was looking. But mostly, you loved the fun little game the two of you had going on.
It had started completely innocently, all by accident, totally and completely random, definitely something you had not given thought to at all, it's not like you had planned the whole thing... No no, you had totally not purposefully put on a cherry flavored lip balm JUST to see how your sweet, loving, lip obsessed, boyfriend would react.
Except you had. And his reaction was 1000 times better than you had expected. You were sitting on his couch, plotting, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. When he retreated into the kitchen to refill your drink, you quickly whipped out the lip smackers, lathering it on your lips like a mad woman. When he returned with your drink, you waited patiently, knowing soon enough he would be the one to cave in and kiss you. And the poor boy fell right into your trap. Not even 5 minutes after settling into the couch beside you, he simply couldn't help himself. Steve leaned over, gently turning your chin towards him with two fingers. His head dipped low. The second his lips found yours, the effect was in place. He startled slightly at the new taste, letting out a sound that was a mix of confusion and delight. His large hand cupped your cheek carefully, pulling you closer as his tongue swiped across your bottom lip. He reeled back a few inches, licking his lips which now held hints of cherry.
"Did you? Is that cherry?" He blinked at you, stunned.
You nodded, nose brushing his lightly. "Mhm, thought it would be a nice surprise." Your arms found their way around his neck, lips grazing the side of his mouth.
A strangled noise caught in his throat, his hands finding your waist as you shifted yourself over his lap. "You did this for me, baby?" He looked up at you.
You hummed a yes, kissing along his jaw carefully. "You like the flavor?"
A slow smirk spread across his lips, hands tightening on your waist. "Hm, not sure. I think I might need another taste."
You let out an airy laugh before your lips met his again.
Since that night, Steve had turned the moment into a little game. He made it his life's mission to find more and more flavors of chapstick. He browsed all of the convenience stores within a 20 mile radius of Hawkins, always returning with at least one new colorful tube of Lip Smackers.
Each time he found a new one, he would conveniently point out how chapped your lips looked and offer you up his newest find. You played into his little game, always taking the offered up balm and immediately applying it before giving him a 'thank you' kiss.
You knew exactly how to tell if he enjoyed a particular flavor or not. If he liked it he would nod to himself as he licked his bottom lip to get a second taste. If he found it to be average he would simply nod. If he wasn't a fan he would let out a narrow hum before holding out his hand for you to return the small tube back to him.
Steve had absolutely no shame in telling you exactly which ones he liked the most, in fact he had a running list:
Cherry (duh it was the first one)
Strawberry Kiwi (cuz it reminds him of Capri Suns)
Vanilla (a classic of course)
Coca-Cola (tastes like an ice)
And the list goes on and on and on, but the bottom two that he simply threw away after the first taste test were from a specialty pack he had found in October. Steve didn't know what he was thinking when he bought the candy flavored pack, but he immediately regretted handing you the licorice flavor and the candy corn flavor. Thinking about them made him sick and had paused his game for approximately 3 days.
Despite the failed halloween flavors, he pushed onward, finding more and more lip balms for you to try. But there was one particular flavor that somehow kept evading him, one flavor that he had been on the hunt for ever since the game had begun.
No matter where he went, where he ventured, how far he traveled, he couldn't seem to track down a singular cotton candy flavored lip balm. It was like the universe was playing some cruel trick on him, because each store he went into had the same empty spot where the elusive flavor was supposed to sit. He didn't know why he was so hell bent on finding that particular flavor, but ever since he noticed it was never in stock he was determined to find it.
Steve had complained to you about how the flavor was specifically evading him, because he had seen plenty of girls whip it out almost tauntingly at Family Video. You listened to his wild ranting, knowing damn well that you had the exact thing he was looking for tucked up in the vanity in your room. But that wasn't for him to know, at least not yet. You were saving that for a special occasion.
And said special occasion had arrived faster than you anticipated.
One year. One full year with your beautiful boyfriend, Steve. A year of Steve being the best boyfriend you could have asked for. A year full of thoughtful dates, gestures, gifts, conversations, long nights. And while the whole chapstick game had only been going on a few months, you figured this was the perfect time to put an end to his suffering journey.
The day had been absolutely perfect. Steve had managed to convince Keith to give him the full day off weeks in advance, had double checked a week before, and triple checked the day before.
He had arrived at your house at exactly 9:45 AM, knocking gently on your front door with a hand picked bouquet of wildflowers. You opened the door, eyes already sparkling at the mere sight of him and that sweet smile.
He drove you to a breakfast joint, hand not leaving yours unless there was a door to be held open. After breakfast, the two of you shopped around the local stores in Hawkins. You bought Steve a vinyl he had been eyeing for weeks, and he bought you the next book in the series you were currently reading.
The day was full of sickeningly sweet smiles, cute conversations, loving looks, and tender touches. It was perfect.
After dinner at Enzo's, you went back to Steve's house. His parents were of course on some ridiculously long vacations, not that Steve minded anymore. At least not the way he used to mind it. Because now, he had you to fill the house. Where before, the only sounds that Steve was used to hearing in the house was his own breathing and the tv, there was now your laughter, your voice, the very essence of you that filled the home.
You and Stever were sprawled out on the carpet of his bedroom floor, his new vinyl playing softly in the back, paper supplies covering the space. You were busy decorating the wooden frame with small gems and sparkles, while Steve kept checking the positioning of the picture in his frame. A picture of the two of you smiling like idiots at each other, captured by Jonathan, sat nestled perfectly between the frame and the glass. Steve had carefully decorated the frame with paper hearts in your favorite color.
"Mkay, I think I'm done!" You smiled, holding the frame up and admiring your work.
"Lemme see." Steve looked up from his own creation, smiling as you turned yours around. And while the frame was beautifully decorated, Steve couldn't manage to take his eyes off the photo. "Stunning."
"Steve, you're not even looking at the frame." You laughed.
"Can't help it, you just look so beautiful in that picture, baby."
You turned it around, looking at the photo again. You smiled at the image, "Mhm, and you look rather handsome, I suppose."
"You suppose?" He feigned a hurt expresion.
"Can't bolster your ego too much or it'll go straight to your hair."
"You mean head?"
"No. I mean hair. Whenever you're feeling suuuuper confident your hair gets like 10 times bigger." You teased.
His jaw dropped, a hand coming up and patting his hair gently. "It does not!"
"Totally does." You bit back a laugh as he sat up, glaring at you with no real malice.
"Well I don't hear you ever complaining about it." He crossed his arms.
You rolled your eyes, sitting up and carefully placing the frame up on his desk, "Yeah cause I keep you humble and therefore keep your hair at a reasonable height."
Steve laughed, eyes following your movements. "You're so mean to me."
You crossed your legs, humming as you finished off the drink beside you. "You're right where you want to be."
Steve nodded, "Sure am." He placed his frame next to yours, then took the empty glass from your hand without a second thought. "Refill?"
You nodded, gathering up all the supplies that littered the floor. Steve kissed your head before disappearing out of the room. You hustled, finishing cleaning up the mess before you rustled through your purse looking for your lip balm. You heard the stairs creak lightly as you pulled out the pink and blue tube. You hastily applied the chapstick to your lips, really lathering it against your lips before tucking the tube into your back pocket.
You flopped onto the bed inconspicuously right as Steve walked back into the room with your drink. You took it, placing it on the nightstand before patting the spot next to you on the bed. Steve sat beside you, an arm wrapping around your shoulders like it was second nature. He wordlessly reached over you for the remote, halting mid reach. He sniffed the air briefly, brows furrowing.
"Something wrong?" You held back the amusement in your voice.
He shook his head, grabbing the remote and settling back into place beside you, switching on the tv. "Whatcha wanna watch?"
You shrugged, snuggling into his side. "You pick."
"Alright, but don't complain about what I pick because you totally could've picked something."
You laughed, knowing damn well the movie would be forgotten within the next 2 minutes, "Whatever you say, baby."
Steve turned on some horror movie, secretly using it as a way to get you closer to him. Little did he know, you would be on him regardless of whatever movie he picked out.
Not even five minutes into the movie you shifted beside him, head in the crook of his neck, planting small kisses against his skin.
Steve blinked, caught off guard. You were almost never this bold. His arm around your shoulder tightened, the feeling of your lips on his skin sending jolts down his spine. He let out a happy sigh as your mouth slowly trailed up. That's when he caught it again.
That very faint smell. The smell he had been chasing down, so close. He pulled back slightly, grabbing your chin, eyes on your lips. He spotted the familiar shine of lip balm on your mouth, and his breath caught. He breathed in the scent, confirming his suspisions.
You smiled up at him sweetly, innocently, "What is it, baby?"
"You found it?" He questioned, ignoring the facade you were putting up.
"Why don't you find out?" Your arms snaked around his neck, fingers threading into the hair at the back of his head. You shifted closer, your lips brushing his playfully. The scent of cotton candy hit him like a freight train.
That small brush was all it took for Steve to break. His lips were on yours before you could blink. The kiss was unlike anything you had witnessed from him before, it was heavy and needy. Steve wasted no time swiping his tongue against your bottom lip, the sweet flavor flooding his senses. He pressed closer, his own lips smashed against yours so hard that it knocked the air out of your lungs. Steve's tongue traveled from the fat of your bottom lip to your own tongue, chasing down the sugary taste. He could taste it everywhere, your lips, your tongue mixed with his, it was all consuming. Steve breathed in through his nose, and even then the scent flooded him. He pulled and sucked on your bottom lip, as his hands dug into your hips. He hauled you over his lap, still on a mission to claim the sweet flavor on your lips.
Your head spun as he kissed you, your hands gripping his shoulders tightly as he continued his conquest on your mouth. A gentle moan slipped through as he pulled at your bottom lip with his teeth before smoothing it over with his tongue. You pressed yourself against him, eyes squeezed shut.
When the flavor had run out, Steve pulled back, breathing heavily. "Where did you find it?" He looked up at you with hazy eyes, his hands rubbing your hips. He guided your hips against his own, watching the way your breath caught at the friction as you tried to catch your own breath.
"Didn't find it. I've always had it, baby." You confessed.
He stared up at you, immediately understanding your little scheme. "You're a little minx, holding out on me for so long. You got it with you, baby?" He pressed you down harder, admiring how your eye lashes fluttered.
You bit your lip, nodding. "Mhm, back pocket."
Steve's hand briefly left your hips, squeezing your ass before pulling the Lip Smackers from the pocket in your jeans. You dragged your hips against his roughly, head falling onto his shoulder at the contact. Despite the layers separating you from him, you should feel him beneath you, and you needed more.
Steve uncapped the small tube, gripping your chin firmly and reapplying the lip balm to your lips and then to his own. You watched him with glossy eyes as he pressed long kisses to your neck, transfering the balm onto your skin. After covering your neck, he pulled your lips against his again.
Now you could taste the sugary flavor on him. You could taste the way it conjoined with the balm already on your own lips, the scent washing over you hard. Steve groaned, letting the taste take control of him. His hands slipped under your shirt, his skin hot against yours. You pulled at his hair, a slight whimper falling from his lips. He had never felt so addicted to something in his life. All his senses told him that kissing you, tasting you, was like oxygen, it was a need.
Steve kissed you until your lips were red, swollen, and tingly. He moved on from your mouth back down to your neck where he had previously left purposeful traces of the lip balm on your skin. Steve worked your neck like it was water in the middle of a drought. He kissed, teethed, pulled, sucked, and smoothed over the skin, leaving bruises in his wake.
You smiled, already in absolute bliss as you rolled against him while he latched onto your neck. Neither of you were quite sure when your jeans had come off or when he had followed suit. But you could feel him fully, and it was almost painful the way you needed him.
You pulled his face away from the top of your chest. He looked up at you with heavy eyes, breathing heavy. "God, you're addicting."
You smiled, thumb brushing his swollen lip. "I think you just really like cotton candy."
He shook his head, "No, I like cotton candy on you. You make it taste even better than it is, you make it compelling. Like I need to taste all of you, every square inch, or I'll die without it, die without you."
You cupped his face, "I need you too, baby. So bad. Please, take what you need, take me, all of me."
Steve stared up at you, eyes deep in yours. He laid you down on the covers, hovering over you briefly as you reapplied the lip balm to his lips. You bit down on your lip, hand in his hair as he kissed lower and lower and lower.
If you had learned anything from that night it was that; 1- you needed way better concealer, 2- Steve was a MUNCH, and 3- you were going to need a lot more cotton candy flavored lip balm.
And luckily for Steve, it seemed the universe had lifted whatever curse had been keeping him away from the elusive chapstick. Because now, it seemed as though every time he went into a store, he came out with at least one more small tube of the sugary sweet flavor.
Pairing: megumi fushiguro x neutral!reader
Synopsis: Megumi gets jealous of reader cuddling with shikigami bunnies
Genre: fluff
a/n: this is my first fic ever (wooooo so cool :D) possibly ooc as I have never written before </3
Megumi’s rabbit shikigami were nothing but white bundles of joy. They could be the cutest little creatures ever. Not only were they the softest things imaginable, but they came in multiples! It was so comforting cuddling a dozen of them in bed.
What a perk it was to have Megumi as a boyfriend. After begging him the previous night, he had given in, summoning the cursed spirits for the sole purpose of pleasing you. Yet an annoyed look was plastered across his face. The damn rabbits had taken over the bed—and most of all you.
A groan of irritation could be heard from his side of the shared bed. Wasn’t he warm enough? There was no reason for the rabbits. Megumi was hoping that he’d get to cuddle you early in the morning, but it seems like those dumb creatures beat him to it.
“Do you really need all those rabbits?” Megumi asked in his raspy morning voice with an undertone of discontent. You were relaxed on the other side of the bed, having a rabbit pressed against your face as you pepper it in kisses.
“They’re keeping me warm,” you reply after giving your affections to the small creature.
Megumi scoffed, “your boyfriend can also keep you warm.”
“But you’re not fluffy,” you hum, letting the creatures lie on your body. “Plus it's rare you let me cuddle the shikigami.”
“Becuase they aren’t meant for cuddling.”
“Boooo, you’re so boring~”
Megumi huffed before dispersing his technique, the rabbits fading away from your arms. He shifted under the covers, wrapping his arms around you.
“Rude,” you say, unhappy with his action.
“Be grateful I even summoned them.” Your boyfriend grumbled before resting his face against your neck.
“You upset?” He asked, genuinely concerned with your silence after a few seconds.
You shake your head, snuggling into his arms. “The opposite…I almost forgot how nice it is in your arms.”
"Good. Because that's the last time I'm letting you cuddle something else."
You heard a couple questions from him but he immediately shuts up when you told him that there was a surprise just for him.
You hold the sides of his lower jaw. Sometimes having to gently push down his upper jaw to close it as he wanted to see this special surprise of yours soo much.
Once he promised you that he won't take another peak, you took off his top hat and putting it in-between your fingers. Hearing Caine make a puzzled hum.
You lean in close to his top jaw, slightly tilting his head downward. Your small breath on his head causes Caine to stifle a laugh.
You press a kiss to where Caine's hat was originally placed and hear a small "Oh." from Caine as his body glitches for a second.
You planted another kiss and one after the other. Your original plan of giving Caine just one simple kiss on the head turned to you peppering Caine with sweet kisses around his face. With each kiss you felt his face get warmer, smoke cartoonishly coming out the back of his head.
His once idle hands now grab your wrists, not to pull you away but to silently ask you for more.
You continued your small attacks of kisses on him until you felt him go limp.
Your hands rush to check on him by opening his upper and lower jaw, you absent-mindedly dropping Caine's hat as you checked on him. Anxiously asking him if he's alright and if you did too much. Smoke seeping out as you make an opening.
When the smoke clears all you saw was your wonderful Caine blue screening from your love. Bright red blush covering his whole face.
"Oh Caine...𖹭"
First time making/posting an x Reader fic. Kinda nervous tbh. (•᷄- •᷅ ;)

Hot steam filled up the kitchenette as the kettle finished heating up the water. Reaching for the cupboard, you pulled out two boxes of tea mixes. One of them contained ancient looking bags making it go straight back into the cupboard.
An herbal blend now sat in the two cups in front of you, and as you poured the scalding water over it, it was immediately colored a deep hazel. The sweet scent of cloves crept up your nostrils as you prepared the two drinks; one with a bit of honey, the other with milk and sugar.
Both in hand, you made your way back over to the workplace, going further than where your desk stood.
Wordlessly, you set down the pastel beverage in front of Patrick Jane, who's come to be your partner in late night tea shenanigans.
He instantly shot up from his couch, flashing you a golden smile before taking the cup into his hands. "Mhm, thank you."
You just quirked an eyebrow and smirked at his enthusiasm. It seemed misplaced to you at this hour of day – or rather, night.
Jane leaned back once again and took a few slow sips of his tea. He seemed to be deep in thought for a few moments, before turning his gaze back to you. A little grin formed on his lips, already teasing on what was about to come.
"I wonder..." he started and then trailed off.
A deep sigh escaped your lips but there was no way you could just ignore him.
"Yes?" you pushed.
"Hm, never mind."
"Jane."
"Yes?"
"What's on your mind?" you asked, sounding annoyed and genuinely curious at the same time. Once again he took some time before replying, but at least this time he did.
"Oh, I was just thinking about you."
"Don't you always?" you joked, mood immediately lighting up as you indulged into this game of his.
He chuckled and nodded, which, to be completely honest, surprised you a little, and hearing him confirm that with actual words didn't help the situation.
"Not wrong. Though this time it was a more serious matter."
He didn't sound serious at all.
"Uh huh?"
"It's just that I've never seen you drink either coffee or caffeinated tea, let alone soda. The logical conclusion would be that you're very fond of a healthy sleeping schedule but then I find you here about every day at these times. Not to forget, I always leave before you do and sometimes that's already bordering on midnight."
"I always take naps when you don't look."
Another sound of amusement, yet it was clear he knew you weren't being truthful.
"I would've noticed", he quipped and raised an eyebrow, waiting for a genuine answer.
"Well, to be honest I just love staring at your back when you get into the elevator. After this phenomenal event every evening, I get out myself. It's like five minutes later but at least I can arrive home with a feeling of gratitude."
Jane tilted his head, clearly enjoying your made up story. He didn't know that parts of it weren't a lie ─ you did love to look at his back. "As charmed as I am, I fear I won't let go of this until you've given me a real explanation."
At this, you eyed him thoroughly, trying to figure out whether he meant it or not. It didn't take long to know he wasn't kidding. He was Jane, after all.
"Fine," you growled. "I might not get as much sleep as I want to but it's fine. I like this job and if it needs more time, then I'm willing to invest in it. It's not like I'm always tired or anything," you added, the last part not sounding convincing at all.
"How many?"
"What?"
"Hours. How many hours of sleep?"
"I don't know. I went home at 11pm yesterday and had to be here at 9am. So I guess like four?"
"Four?"
"Yes, four, Jane. Problem?" You questioned him back, getting more annoyed every second this conversation lasted.
"Isn't your home only a twenty minute drive away?"
"It is and do I even wanna know how you know that?"
He completely ignored your question and went on with his own: "What happened to the other three hours?"
"Nothing, I just─I just finished some work at home," you admitted.
Instead of another question, you were met with silence.
A lot of it.
Until Jane got up from his couch, grabbed both of your cups and disappeared behind the door. The sudden and unexpected action left you speechless, and didn't give you enough time to protest. Your tea hasn't even been blown on yet.
After half a minute, Jane came back, this time making a beeline towards your computer. When his hand moved to the power button, your senses finally came back.
"Hey, what are you doing?!" you exclaimed, voice confused and louder than before.
Instead of replying, Jane just turned the machine off. "Hope that document was saved", he commented and finally turned to you, only to be met with a flabbergasted expression.
"What are you doing?" you repeated, sounding even more confused than before. "And why did you throw out a perfectly fine cup of tea?"
"Firstly, I didn't throw it out, I merely put it on the counter, and secondly it would've only given you a reason to go against my plan."
"Right, cause currently I just follow whatever you're doing."
"I wish you were", he countered and smirked at you.
"Real fun, Jane, but go back and bring me my tea." No movement was made, so you tried again. "Hello? Jane, seriously. I thought you were the biggest tea lover you can find in California."
"While it is unlikely, I do see where you're coming from, but if you had it in reach, you would've waited at least fifteen more minutes for it to cool and then drink it for another ten. I want you to leave this building this moment, so tea is out of the window."
"I have work to do."
"So you've said. I promise it won't grow legs and run away," he said, much more gentle now. "You can look at it tomorrow, just get out of here now."
You looked into his blue eyes, trying to find any sign of joke but only finding sincerity. You glanced back to your desk, then the clock at the wall and finally back to him. "Okay," finally came accompanied with a nod.
Jane's smile came fast and bright as he took your arm to lead you to the elevator. You grabbed your bag and let yourself be nearly towed away towards the exit.
"I can walk on my own you know", you stated even though you didn't actually mind his hands on you. In fact you'd appreciate them somewhere else too, but that was a topic for another day.
"I'm sure you can," he only replied, dragging you further on.
The elevator chimed on the moment the button was pressed and the doors opened. Both of you stepped inside, his fingers quickly finding the first floor.
A comfortable silence settled and for a few moments, you allowed yourself to relax. You took a deep breath in, exhaled and felt your eyelids closing for just a fraction of a second. Jane must've noticed, because when you met his eyes again, they radiated understanding and were quiet.
The doors opened once again and you both left the elevator and within half a minute more, the CBI building as well. The chilled autumn air hit you right in the face and while it was cold, it was welcoming too.
You followed Jane blindly for a few more steps before realising you parked your car in the opposite direction.
"Jane-"
"Don't worry about that. I'll drive you home," he cut you off nonchalantly.
"No," was your immediate and very much expected reply. Your voice softened a little after this. "You really don't have to."
"I know. I want to."
"I appreciate that but I'd rather just drive to my home myself."
"And I'd rather not have you cause a car crash because of overworking and sleepless nights", he retorted, not bothering to slow down.
"I got enough sleep to work perfectly fine," you argued and were instantly met with a look from him that told you to be for real.
Coming to a halt in front of his car, he finally turned around to face you again, putting both hands on your shoulders.
"I know you're capable. You're excellent at your work but you, just like all people, need to take care of yourself in order to work. And if I had left you alone in the office, you wouldn't get home for another two hours."
Your mouth opened but Jane beat you to it.
"You need to rest."
"I-"
"Nuh uh."
A puzzled look decorated your face as his pointer finger settled on your lips to quiet you. It took a few thoughts and feelings for you to agree with him but finally you looked down at the ground and nodded. You knew he was right.
Jane let his finger drift down and tilted your chin up, making you look at him. He didn't say anything, just gave you a small but happy smile.
The warmth of his hand on your skin and from his expression made you feel lighter in the cool night air, which hit you harder in that second, making a strand of your hair fall back in your face. Before having the chance to brush it back yourself, Jane did it for you in a quick motion, then opened the door to the passenger seat, gesturing for you to step inside.
You did.
After collecting yourself.
Jane stepped around the car, taking his place in the driver's seat and starting the engine.
For a few minutes, nothing but silence and the hum of the machine filled the air. It wasn't heavy or uncomfortable but it didn't feel casual either.
You turned your head towards him, suddenly remembering that he might not know the address.
"Do you want me to put it down in the GPS?" you asked with a quiet voice.
"I still have it in mind. Relax a little and let me drive you there, okay?"
"Okay."
You sighed and rotated your body to your right, facing the window and taking a closer look at life outside. You could only spot a few people every now and then, as well as lit up rooms or buildings. The darkness of the night made your eyelids grow heavier every second.
As your vision began to blur, you finally noticed just how tired you were but it was too late now. The steadiness of the drive, the presence next to you and the dark surroundings did a good job at bringing you closer to sleep, even if involuntarily.
Too tired to fight back, you let yourself be pulled into the land of dreams.
· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·
"Hey, sleepyhead."
"Mhm..."
Jane chuckled and gently brushed his fingers against your face.
"Time to go home."
"No..." you protested in your groggy state. "'Tis comfortable," you added, still half asleep.
"I can promise you, your bed is even better."
Even with closed eyes and sleep knocking at your door once again, you could clearly hear the smile he wore. This beautiful smile couldn't be missed and it eventually made you crack an eye open.
"'Course my bed is bedder than a car seat," you replied, totally unaware of the ridiculous thing you just said.
"Alright, come on, I'll help you up," Jane chuckled and carefully steadied your lower back.
You didn't make any move on your own but that didn't seem to be needed. Jane already pulled you out himself.
Having to stand again was a hard adjustment after the nap you just took. Your legs felt wobbly and not at all supportive. The imbalance made you lose your footing for a second but luckily Jane quickly put an arm around your waist to keep you from falling.
"Woah, slow down there."
You just grumbled in reply and took a step forward while he kept his reassuring grip on you.
While it was a struggle, both of you made it to your door step in only a short time and you clumsily pulled the key out of your bag. Once you found it, you moved to open the door but you couldn't quite put it in. Jane's free hand immediately shot up to fold around yours and guide it.
You felt heat creep up to your cheeks but blamed it on your sleepiness.
Jane put on the light and led you inside.
"Bedroom?"
His voice was close to your ear and under any other circumstances you would've melted at this simple question. For now though, all you were capable of was pointing towards the left end of the hall.
You made your way over there and entered the room.
Once your bed was in sight, Jane brought you close enough and slowly put you down.
The last bit of strength you had was used to kick your shoes off and nuzzle your face into your pillow.
Before drifting off again, you managed to mutter a muffled 'thank you'.
Jane didn't reply at first. He just stood there, watching your relaxed body and steady breathing. He was glad you could rest now and hoped to see you come in an hour later than usual tomorrow.
He turned to leave but his feet didn't move over the threshold yet. Looking back at your soft features, he smiled to himself. "You're welcome, princess."
With one last glance, Jane finally turned to leave your bedroom and home, secretly hoping to have a chance to come here again soon, if you let him.

𝜗𝜚 ࣪˖ simon walked through the door already tugging at his uniform, kicking off his boots. he had probably one of the worse days he’s had in a long time and all he wanted to do was see his beautiful wife.
the two of you had been married a long time, no doubt inlove. but seeing your face everyday after work, it was like his love for you left and came back at first sight.
and don’t let anyone bring up food, your cooking was a taste that might’ve aswell put him to sleep like a newborn baby. you’re his wife in every lifetime.
and boy did he remind you of it.
while still stripping off his clothes he walked to the kicthen, stopping in the doorway. there you were, his beautiful wife cooking at the stove in a navy blue apron saying wifey. the matching ones you both got as a wedding gift. though something was off, oh yeah your clothes.
you stood in that apron and only that apron, he could see the tie behind you threatening to burst as the plump of your ass, your thin nipples peaking through the front like an added decoration.
“all f’me?” he came up behind you, hands slipping under the open back to hold your bare hips. you jumped before giggling, “didn’t think you’d be back yet, wanted to surprise you with your favourite.”
“you’re my favourite meal swee’heart.” he hummed, putting his head on your shoulder as he watched your slender fingers stir the food.
his fingers danced around, the access from no undergarments was like a reward — only until you swatted his hands away and said profusely “not before dinner!”
he gave you an unimpressed look, tugging your hips back. “food’ll take long, we have enough time.” you held a hand up, shooing him away.
fine, see how you’ll like it.
he walked away, not being giving you a smack on the ass to get undressed into his classic — wife beater and grey sweatpants.
dinner was amazing, as usual. by the end of it though, something was off — your apron!
simon bent you over the counter just as you turned to leave the kicthen, tugging at the tie of the apron. “damn tease, you like teasing your husband, huh?” you tried to squirm away, contesting how you needed to do the dishes but one smack to your cunt? you’re as silent as a mouse.
“all this complaining .. but you’re dripping for me love — you can’t resist your husband.” two thing digits plunge into you, knuckle deep making you gasp everytime even when you were so familiar with it.
“you love me, yeah? show me.” you arched against the counter, body moving on its own. back and forth, back and forth. god how easy you were for your husband.
after a few orgasms at the counter from his fingers, your complains about the fact you’d both have to eat there after were getting loud.
so he picks you up, not bothering to go upstairs — too much time and effort and went to the stairs. you were on your hands and knees on two different steps, perfect level for him.
you watch from over your shoulder as he pumps his cock, pre-cum dried around his mushroom head. you couldn’t help but whine, the sight turning you on. “such a slut, huh?” he positions himself, one leg up on the step beside your head, your opposite leg lifted up to his hips as he thrust in you at an ungodly speed.
his “slow” pace wasn’t your slow and it showed.
so you fucked, different positions not leaving the staircase — easy clean and easy positions, is what he said after your shared bath which led to more rounds.
simon can be an ass, but he’s your ass and you wouldn’t change that for anything.

my first fanfic, dont judge !!
also my first time writing smut, i hope it’s not sounding stiff !!
It was 6:12AM when the baby monitor went off for the six time that night. The sun was beginning to rise as light crept into the apartment and the only sound disturbing the two newly parents was the noise of a new born coming for the monitor.
“It’s your turn” You mumble too your husband.
“I’m pretty sure I did it last time honey” Jack mumbled back his voice still rough with sleep.
“Jack.”
“I’m serious.”
Another cry echoed through the room.
He let out a dramatic sigh before finally lifting his head from the pillow, his gray hair sticking up in every direction. “She likes you more.”
“That’s because I don’t complain every time she wakes up.”
Jack groaned knowing that he had to get up “fine I’ll go but if she’s sick on me again I’m subbing you in” he tells you. Jack gets up and picks up his crutches nearest his side and moved out of the room and moved down to his daughter’s room. The crying got louder the more closer he got.
Once he entered the room he went straight for his daughter “Hey, hey, sweetheart,” he whispered gently, completely different now. Softer. “You’re okay.” He said trying to smooth her.
You can hear his voice as it drifted from your daughter’s room to yours. His voice is soft and calming like it always is when he speaks to her. When you first told Jack that you were pregnant he didn’t believe you he never thought that he would be a dad specially after his first wife died but there you stood with a positive pregnancy test.
You slowly realise that you won’t be able to head back to sleep. You give a soft sigh and sit up trying to gain energy to get up. Once you do you move down to your daughter’s room.
The sight infront of you was enough to make your heart explode. Jack sat in the rocking chair with your daughter asleep against his chest, one large hand resting protectively over her back while the other gently stroked through her messy curls.
His head leaned back against the chair, eyes half closed with exhaustion.
But he was still rocking her slowly and whispering quietly to her.
“You’re okay. Dad’s here.” He says still gently smoothing your daughter.
“You scared me with those cries, you know that?” he murmured. “Thought you were getting kidnapped” he joked quietly Your daughter shifted sleepily against him.
Jack pressed a soft kiss against the top of her head without even thinking about it.
You smile at the sight and move into the room so Jack can finally notice your presence.
“She okay” you ask him whilst moving to sit on the arm of the rocking chair.
“Yeah I think she probably just had a bad dream” he says quietly trying not to disturb her.
The apartment is in complete silence the only sound is the soft breathing that is coming from your daughter.
“We should head back to sleep” you tell your husband.
Jack looked down at your daughter curled against him and shook his head slightly.
“She fell asleep on me I can’t move her” He says not wanting to disturb his precious daughter.
“Jack…”
“Just five more minutes,” he whispered. “I think she likes the heartbeat thing.”
Your chest ached a little at the sight of them together.
The dim nightlight cast soft shadows across his tired face while your daughter slept peacefully against him, tiny fingers gripping the front of his t-shirt.
Jack looked completely exhausted but also looked completely in love.
“You’re good at this,” you said quietly.
He glanced up at you for a second before looking back down at her.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
A small smile pulled at the corner of his mouth.
“Don’t tell anyone,” he murmured. “I have a reputation to maintain.”
……..
Idc Jack is such a girl dad and no one can convince me otherwise.

Part 2
@strangergraphics vine borders <3
“Will you stop fighting with that boy?” You say blotting the wet rag against your older brother’s face. Jonathan is one of those quieter kids at school but when it comes to Steve Harrington, he doesn’t know how to not show your father’s rage.
“He started it..”
“I don’t care Jon.” You groan placing a bandaid across his lower cheek. “You are literally dating his ex, don’t be so insecure.”
“I’m not insecure y/n!” He defends shooting an angry glare to you.
“Sure whatever.” You sigh throwing away your first aid trash and leaving the bathroom.
The smell of your mom’s chicken casserole filling the room with a familiar warmth of your childhood, it was her main dish she made. It was cheap, easy, and it was probably the best thing she could make.
“Can you let them know suppers ready?” She asks wiping off her hands. You nod, turning back towards the hallway you just came from. You walk out of the back sliding door seeing your younger brother with his friends. Your footsteps are fairly quiet until you crunch a large a little too loud and a little too close sending the group into high alert.
“Y/n!” Will yelps jumping to his feet. “You can’t sneak up every time we’ve been over this!”
“I’m sorry!” You giggle to him. The stress still showing on his face and the other three. “Mom says supper is ready guys.” They nod leaving the crunchy fall ground, following your path back to the house as you lead.
· · ─ ·𖥸· ─ · ·
The dinner table is fairly quiet. You’re in the middle of a tension of eyes and stress in the air, but the smell of the warm dish in front of you battling the thoughts.
“So what were you guys doing in the woods?” Jonathan asks inhaling his plate. The boys’ eyes widen darting to him and then to each other.
“The woods?” Mom growls. His fork slams against the glass plate making the rest of the table subtly jump. “William Byers we’ve been over this!” Her voice gaining in volume and intensity.
After all the shit going on with Will and in Hawkins, she’s made us hard on rules and stricter than the damn military that keeps us under lockdown. The woods being one of the spots she has banned for us, especially him to go.
Will continues to stay quiet, playing around his noodles and chicken on his plate. The screeching of his metal fork piercing everyone’s ears that fills the heaviness.
“Mrs. Byers, we weren’t doing anything…” Lucas starts, immediately shushed by your mother shooting her angry gaze to him instead of Will.
“I don’t care Lucas. The woods are off limits.”
“Jonathan why would you say anything?” Will asks across the table to the oldest. Jonathon shrugs still staring to his plate that’s nearly wiped clean. “Was it to the hide the fact you got into another fight?”
Your water chokes in your throat, coughing all the air from your lungs after it goes down. The angry gaze from Will now trails to Jonathan.
“Rat.” He growls leaning back hunched on his dining chair. The loud creaking echoes from the legs as he moves sharply. Will sighs loudly grabbing his plate and placing it into the sink and walking down the hall to his bedroom.
“I’m sorry Mrs. Byers” Mike says softly. He sounded so genuine you could barely tell he didn’t actually care. Your mother sighs loudly again but her angry expression has disappeared from her face, now she shows defeat and desperation.
“Thank you for supper.” Dustin adds on grabbing his clean plate and placing it into the sink, the other two boys following his lead. They all three walk down to Will’s room closing the door behind them.
“Anyways..” you attempt to break the tension scooting your chair away from the table to stand.
“Sit.” Your mother demands, your butt immediately hitting the chair. “Jonathan you need to quit. You’re the oldest and have you seen the environment we live in?!”
Jonathan’s demeanor changes from annoyed to more anger after that statement. He is the oldest, this is true, but to be the oldest son of a single mother really has higher expectations than one bargained for.
His voice stays silent as your mother continues her lecture she has almost every time he’d come home with bruises and bloody scars across his face. It’s a lecture you both have heard before, you’re forced to sit almost through each one. As the only daughter of hers you are assumed to take on the motherly duties as well of taking care of your brothers on top of your mom taking care of them.
His chair scoots against the floor, he rises to his feet and leaves through the front door. His hands moved smoothly as he grabbed his coat and the door calmly closed behind him. No word spoke from him during his exit.
You clear your throat standing up grabbing your and Jonathan’s plate, taking it to the sink and starting the faucet.
The family really hasn’t felt the same since Will’s take over and this whole town cut down the middle just months ago. The Christmas lights and demented alphabet still sits painted on the living room wall, almost as it’s become a wallpaper.
“Can you clean up for me dear? I’m supposed to go to Hopper’s tonight to talk about their tunnel crawl idea.” She asks resting her head on your shoulder. Your head leans to lay above hers, feeling her thick hair scratching your cheek with the faint smell of her cucumber mint shampoo.
“Yes, how long will you be out?” You respond moving the plates under the steaming water watching all the particles show a shiny white glass.
“I’m not sure honey. I don’t know what the crawls even are or what he’s going to say.” She explains with disappointment in her tone. “Can you make sure your brother doesn’t…”
“Yes mom.” You interrupt. You already know what she was going to say. She says it every time. Will is practically chained to the property when she’s not around and if she’s not you are to have a mental leash on him. She thanks you and kisses your cheek before heading towards the front door with her coat.
“I love you y/n.”
“I love you too mom.” You smile to her. The door clicking closed and the lock turning. You watch her walk towards her car, backing out, and leaving down the road.
Once her car is out of reach you turn off the water and rush down the hallway to Will’s room. You knock lightly. The boys voices still going as if it was too light. You knock again. The voices stop, footsteps crunching along the old carpet towards the door.
“Hey,” you say with a soft grin. “Can I come in?”
Will turns around silently to the boys, their nods agreeing in unison. You walk past him and lay across the back side of his bed behind Mike and Lucas.
“Mom’s goi no to Hop’s tonight. So you’re stuck with me tonight kiddo.” You say. Will swinging the door back open.
“And Jonathan?” He asks.
“I assume went to Nancy’s. I’m not sure.” You shrug. “He left saying nothing during mom’s lecture about fighting.”
“We found a crack in the woods.” Will starts. “There was a feeling, a static, but it wasn’t as strong as usual.”
“Will..”
“It was for only a second. The crack in the portal we saw it, it was on a tree trunk. But when the feeling went away the tree sewn itself back up. As if it never split. It was so weird.”
“Did you hear anything?” You ask feeling yourself slowly go pale.
“I heard the wind around us, and panting. As if I was out of breath. And school bells?”
“Don’t go back out. Tonight at least, please.” You plead showing worry in your face. Will can see it on your face, you’re worried about him and all of you. He nods reassuring you.
“I’m..I’m gonna go lay down.” You say blankly quickly scooting off his bed and across the hall into your room. You close your door, resting your back against the door.
The memories flood back to you. Your baby brother with his stupid bowl cut mom insisted he needed, seizing strapped to a chair in front of you. His pupils rolling behind his head only showing the whites of his eyes. It was terrifying. Your weak at the knees, gravity pulling your shaking body down to the floor making you wrap around your knees into a ball.
The way you watched your mom go crazy trying to get the Christmas lights to gleam from his touch. And the way you watched the town nearly slice down in half, almost losing everyone you loved. It was a lot. Your tears burning both of your cheeks, nearly soaking your T-shirt you kept using to wipe them off.
· · ─ ·𖥸· ─ · ·
You aren’t really sure how long you sat there curled up for, the room was a bit more sunny when you first entered your room. The moonlight now being the shine into your window. You must’ve dozed off at some point during your breakdown. Your joints are sore from the sitting for hours, but you stretch it off and check in on the boys.
You crack open Will’s door and see him reading a book, probably for school.
“I see you y/n” he says, catching you trying to shut his door. You sigh loudly and swing it open.
“I’m sorry Will.” You say leaning against his door frame. “You’re just my brother and I feel like there’s always something I can do.”
“You’re doing your best. I’m sorry you..you started to cry.” He says failing to make eye contact with you. Fuck he heard you crying.
“No no, just don’t go and do something stupid. At least until one of us tells you too. Okay?” You send him a small fake smile. His smile grows and nods to you. His bright smile comforts you, your heart warms as you go to close his door again and head into yours.
The moon has completely Illuminated your room. You pop a Phil Collin’s vinyl into your record player, hearing the piano symphonies flood softly in your room.
· · ─ ·𖥸· ─ · ·
As the vinyl comes to a scratching ending, the room is back to being silent. You go to flip the record to play the other side, but the silence is quickly ended by a knocking against your window. You spin around holding the record tight, your eyes in fear then to comfort to a friendly face smiling to you through the glass.
You walk over unlocking the window and sliding it upwards, the figure climbing through. The struggle really showing as they are barely too tall to fit through.
“Phil Collin’s hm?” The voice says in a teasing tone to you.
“Mhm.” You say spinning back around to play the record. Their arms gently graze over your T-shirt and the exposed part of your torso, warming up your bodies. Their hands swinging your hips slowly, them following the rhythm.
“Sounds like that stupid dance I asked you too.” They chuckle as the beginning tune of A Groovy Kind of Love begins to play. Their face nuzzling into your neck as they laugh, still swaying to the music playing.
