Okay, time to take a break from the Horus Heresy again. Three books in the row beat my ass. Time for something on my physical tbr that’s hopefully not as depressing.

I can’t believe I called the ending of this book way back at the start. Still an awesome read though. Still have like an hour-ish left.

I actually do love it when a sci-fi book starts out not feeling like sci-fi. Bonus points when it’s a planet that was settled by a society with interstellar technology who now does not have those same ability and stepped back into a pre-industrial type of society.

How the fuck did this book make Whitby my favorite in the series?

When you get so obsessed with a book series you wanna get “Where lies the strangling fruit that came from the hand of the sinner” tattooed on you.

Even better, I live in the Bible Belt. That would get me some QUESTIONS.

I love that the guy named Control has no idea what’s going on. That is such a mood tbh.
