RORY.
doing work study was simultaneously the best and worst decision hayden had made. for one, it gave him some income to help pay for school and buy food, but at the same time he was assigned to dishwashing and touching dirty plates was always the bane of his existence. he always wore his gloves and washed his hands thoroughly, but he still felt as though he smelled like old food at the end of each night. at least he was able to walk through campus as the sun was setting, giving him plenty of time to get fresh air and plan out a to-do list in his head. tonight, he had a few papers to work on and he wanted to get ahead in some reading, but there was always time for a detour. turning right, he began walking toward rory’s place, his footsteps heavy as his eyes dropped, but he knew that he would get a burst of energy as soon as he saw someone with whom he actually got along. knocking on the door, he prepared to make a beeline for a couch and lament about his work day, at least as much as rory would let him.
