He’s lying. 

Harmony has seen K enough at this point to tell that he whether he is telling the truth. He says he’s okay but his reaction says otherwise. Knowing this made her frown and a quiet sigh escapes her.  There wasn’t even much going on. She was talking with one of her classmates about today’s biology lab. She only spent a few minutes talking with him before parting ways earlier that day. They were lab partners, nothing more. That is the only thing she can think of that may have upset K. But wait, how would he- No, he must have walked by without her seeing him and saw what was going on. There is no way that K would follow her around. There could be another reason. 

Enough is enough! Harmony has to sort this out. “Hey, K? K, please look at me.” Her voice is softer, hoping to have K let his guard down and be honest with her. “I need to know what is wrong. You’ve been so upset and I don’t know where this came from. It must be something I did.”  Then, she realizes why he may be upset.

“Is it because you like me? Like...You know,” Harmony knows what she will say next may be childish, but she couldn’t think of a better word at that moment, and must know once and for all. “Like, more than a friend?”

Crimson hues stared up at the other, looking into their pink eyes. It somehow comforted her to see someone else with such... An unusual eye shade. Awaseru quickly waved to the other.

          Eyes were wide, confusion apparent on her face. She didn’t understand why the stranger was so angry with her. And the man was a stranger for sure-- not someone she’d wronged and forgotten about. His words were so loud and slurred she couldn’t quite understand what he was saying. She just stared at him unblinking as he yelled unintelligibly at her. Was he trying to intimidate her? From his nonsensical yelling she’d picked up something about looking at him the wrong way-- or was it that she’d not looked at him at all? 

Ica was trying to understand what was happening and the next thing she knew his hand was around her comparatively small wrist.  Anyone looking could tell he was squeezing hard, but she hardly felt it. Despite her confusion there was one thing she did know, and that’s that he was touching her... and that she did not like it-- not at all. Hackles raised and eyes widened, already cattish pupils turning to slits. It would be a decisive moment... not for her though.

She was only gone a few moments when she popped back into the entry room beside Jun. “Gran’s busy downstairs but, seriously, make yourself at home. Do you need permission to sit down?” She pointed towards the sofa with a poking gesture for him to sit down. “Nothing’s gonna bother you here, even if it tried following. So take a load off. You gotta be hungry at least. There’s a whole restaurant downstairs, I’ll go get you a menu.”

She was gone and back before he could even protest if he wanted, with a laminated paper in hand. “Anything you want, on the house. My friends get to eat for free.”

 “     yes... “ K did so wish he didn’t HAVE to ask. what he wouldn’t give to have things back the way they were before... there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t give. and he was ready to start giving now. whatever it took... and he was going to have more than enough time with how much time they’d be spending together after they talked.  

   but things weren’t that way yet. “   it’s more of a... private matter, are you alright with talking about it right here? “ so he knew just saying that wouldn’t be ENOUGH. maybe if he just... “   I... spoke with your guardian recently and I don’t know if he told you but... “

“    things are going to be have to be a bit... different from now on. “ but to say anything more while there were other students around that could hear about the RESPECTABLE students personal life wouldn’t be very considerate of him.

//  Min-jae’s expression slowly began to sour the more shit poured out the other’s mouth but he didn’t dare to talk back. Thankfully his back was facing most so his expression ( which was rare for anyone to see ) was hidden. Though, even though he couldn’t say anything, his face would be surely enough to voice his displeasure to this new development.

   “ ... these changes... I would rather we discuss them somewhere else. ” As much as Min-jae hated to be in a room with this freak, if someone overheard this kind of thing, he could kiss his reputation goodbye.
