Hey. BM anon is sliding back on in here. And I am just. Can I say how effing -stoked- I am that you're introducing so many fun characters into BM? I was sleeping, apperently, and didn't realize you had uploaded more (4!) so that was real cool. I love Taniria running distraction(and Nihlus casually mentioning humans being too dumb to track her down and get her in trouble). And your extra lore? *chef's kiss* The four eyed spikey sun deer is so cool sounding.

bm anon i want you to know it is taking all my effort not to throw spoilers at your face because there is symbolism and shit going on but i’m the only one who knows it and i have to keep SOME secrets or it loses impact

im glad the bonus characters are going over so well..... i love the me1 crew but ngl it feels kinda. empty. in-game. i understand it’s cause engine limitations but there’s gotta be more than just, like, 5 people on the normandy and 4 people working at the tower and so on. and boy howdy i’m only just getting started with the extra bonus characters just wait until the next citadel arc ;)

thank u bb ilysm…… straight up i really do genuinely appreciate ppl recognizing i have a life and i’m not always able to spend a stupid amount of hours working on fanwork, i’ve had ppl in the past who got mad at me if i dared want to like, yknow, do homework or go to class or even god forbid have other interests besides my main fandom, so i always feel guilty when i’m not able to respond to things right away or update a fic in a timely manner or w/e so ppl being like “no please take care of yourself and live your life” gives me the warm fuzzies i know it probably seems dumb but like!! it really does mean a lot to me!!

i do have good news on the writing front tho!! i currently have the next FIFTEEN installments of bm planned and outlined, and i know exactly how i want to write it all, i just have to wrangle my adhd a bit, lol. PLUS i’m actually participating in camp nanowrimo this year, and my project is just to put in as many hours as possible into writing bm (goal of 45, but hopefully i’ll manage more than that), so i should actually be able to get some more updates out pretty soon!! just be patient cause i also have, yknow, School Stuff™ and other things like dnd and other fandoms and art i want to do, lol

also!!!!! yes hello thank you im doing my best w saren’s ptsd, i relate to him really strongly so im modeling a lot of his ptsd on how i handle mine.....

and also like. i see a lot of weird fetishization of ptsd in fandom (mostly of the “uwu you just need a good partner and you’ll be better” variety, and like, romanticization of the suffering it brings?? Bad) so im trying really hard to emphasize that the characters w ptsd are handling it themselves, and doing it in ways that work best for them, and their partners (like nihlus!!) are there for support, not for waving their hands to make the icky trauma response go away, so yes warm fuzzies from supportive and understanding nihlus good thank u this is valuable input and i love u
