A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
He is super affectionate. Always gently roughhousing with you, playing with your hair mindlessly, talking about you to all his teammates and friends.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
Marchy would be extremely supportive, loyal and always trying to make you laugh
You guys likely met at a bar when he slyly challenged you to darts. He expected to win and was flabbergasted when you beat him effortlessly. You spent all night making each other laugh and you two have been inseparable ever since.
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
He is a big fan of cuddling. Always clinging onto you in subtle ways but when it's just you two he curls into your side, resting his head on your chest. Content sighs immediately slipping from him once he is in your embrace.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
Marchy loves the idea of a domestic life with you. He wants to settle down, provide and protect you. He loves cooking with you, but let's be frank he's messy... but it all works out because he'll run around quickly Sunday morning throwing all his stuff in a pile to make sure it's out of your way. It's adorable and he really does want to ensure you're as happy as possible.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
He wants to settle down with you but is in no rush to get married. Marchy is your best friend but also life partner and there feels like there's no clock telling you two to hurry up or that you need to get married to "cement your relationship".
You're both completely comfortable and happy in your relationship.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
He's a mix of all the best things. He loves to roughhouse with you, but is constantly peppering you with soft kisses. He is constantly thriving to make you laugh but he is also reassuring and gentle when he talks to you.
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
He loves hugs. Loves to hug you. Loves when you hug him. Loves to gently draw circles on your back when he wraps his strong arms around you.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
It comes out naturally after one of your late nights together. Something so certain and unwavering. It fills your heart with adoration and
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
He’s more protective then jealous, but he definitely gets jealous at times. If you guys are at a bar and someone is standing too close, if someone
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
Marchy loves to pepper you with kisses, covering your whole face and neck. He loves how it makes you laugh and that makes him do even more until you both collapse onto each other.
He also loves to give you kisses on the forehead or top of head when you're in a group setting, so gentle and always filled with so much love.
He loves when you kiss his neck. Immediately turning into putty in your hands...
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
He is incredible with children, always joining hockey events where he can work with them. They love how silly he is and he's nothing but sweet to every single one. Genuinely caring about how they're doing and making sure they all have a great time. If a kid gets hurt he's the first one to do anything to make sure they're okay :)
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
Mornings are blissfully slow
He insists on snoozing both of your alarms just so he can curl into your side, basking in your warmth. Letting out a small whine whenever you insist that he's going to be late, before making a dramatic display of trudging his feet through the motions of getting ready.
He also insists on giving you more kisses than you can count as he's walking out the door.
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
He adores a movie night with you. Ordering in all of your favorites, curling up with a bunch of blankets and pillows. He loves the calmness you provide him and he loves how he can truly let his guard down.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
He's usually very guarded but with you everything seems to come more easily. He still is slow to reveal things about himself at first, without having a joking tone, but he trusts you. Which makes him want to reveal all the little things about himself and he wants to know all the little things about you.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
Oh, don't even get him started with people he dislikes... he cannot stand them and he doesn't even attempt to fake it.
With you he is patient and you return the same to him. He wants to understand you and if he would never let himself take his anger out on you.
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
He acts like he is forgetful at times, just to surprise you with your favorite meal after a long day. Playing your favorite song when you wake up from a nap. Leaving his (and your) favorite hoodie for you before a roadie. Sending you texts whenever something reminds him of you.
So yeah, he remembers everything and makes a conscious effort to.
R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
He loves the first night you fell asleep on him. It had been early on into your relationship, it was a late night after he insisted you needed to join him to hangout with his teammates. It was a lovely time but the whole ordeal had you exhausted. He'll never forget the way your head rested on his shoulder and the way you contently sighed when he placed a kiss on your forehead. How much you trusted him to take care of you, how safe he felt. He could never forget it, even if he tried.
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
Marchy is beyond protective of you, but in subtle ways. His watchful eye, his gentle touches, how he talks about you. All of it is protective and proud.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
He puts a comical amount of effort into dates, anniversaries, gifts... all of it. He truly wants you to feel like the most special person in the world.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Yes. He thinks you bring out all the best qualities in him. Things he didn't even know he was capable of. He loves your calmness and how grounded you make him feel. Every time he's away he can't help but feel incomplete without you.
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)
He can sleep anywhere. Plane? Yup. Couch? Yup. On the floor? Yup. He could genuinely be laying on a concrete floor without anything and fall asleep. It's endearing but also makes you raise an eyebrow at times. But you wouldn't want his weird self any other way.
