Just in case anyone needs to see how absolute crap BMI is:
Mark recently said he's 180, Mark is 5'10" (according to Google lol we all know that's not right 😋)
Mark is "overweight" apparently ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
"oh but that's muscle wei.." shh shh I know, I know that, you know that, an actual decent doctor/trainer will know that. But there are doctors/trainers/etc out there who WILL tell him he needs to loose weight, he does not. You probably don't need to loose anywhere near what your doctor is telling you (There are of course situations where you do)
Just as another example here's mine:
And here's me (I've actually lost another 8 lbs since these were taken!):
Am I overweight? Yep. Do I need to loose some of it? Sure do! Am I severely/morbidly obese? No. Will I ever be in that green bar? Heeeellll no!! My BMI wants me at ~130....like....I would be skin and bones at 130.
Are you eating well? Think honestly about that, good portions, good amount of carbs (some carbs are ok, some carbs are good! Don't cut them out entirely as it can be baaaad)? Are you exercising at least 30 mins a day (just getting your heart rate up for 30 mins, doesn't matter how)? Do you have breathing or joint issues related to weight? Do you have diabetes? Then you're honestly probably fine. If you want to get to a healthy weight for you then absolutely go for it! But make sure you're considering ALL factors and aren't killing yourself for something unobtainable.
