(decided to make a new post so it won’t be as long as my other ones ^^;)

yeah, i guess so...but i’m being stubborn and refuse to accept it lol 

i think mostly because TPOM has a couple of references to Madagascar and Merry Madagascar

in the TPOM episode “Field Tripped”, a kid sees the penguin knock out a pretzel vendor. Skipper’s concerned he’s a spy and go to the bench the kid was at after he left

the kid left a museum brochure behind that had a picture of a Madagascar exhibit. 

Skipper says "Junior has intel on Madagascar! How long has he been spying on us?!” 

and in TPOM Christmas special, Santa remembers Julien who says “oh yeah, we go way back” XD

so to me, somehow, all of these movies, shorts, and episodes fit together XD

Are there any characters you feel are underappreciated? - from the ask game

Ooh, this is a hard one.

I’d say Rico is really underappreciated by the writers. He gets the least amount of screentime in the 2015 film, and the number of episodes that focus on him specifically is underwhelming. He’s a gentle giant who destroys because it’s the only thing he knows how to do, and I wish the writers had highlighted that a lot more. (I am very happy with all the attention he’s been getting in the fandom, though! Go read the fanfic Ree-ko on ao3, it slaps.)

I found your persona poem and I really like it! I love the way you’ve used tools like rhymes, repetition and alliteration; I think it’s done really well and not too heavy-handed that it smacks you in the face because it’s done too heavily. I’m terrible at writing poems and making metaphors and I’m really in awe of what you did!

My university. I could gush about its performing arts community for hours.

Broadway. I don’t cry often, but live theatre always makes me sob. Talk to me about musicals literally any time.

Disneyworld. I can’t afford to go often but when I do I turn into a five year old. Pirates of the Caribbean, Soarin’ and Space Mountain have my heart.

My brother. He’s my best friend, my right arm, and the only person who I would die for.

Monsters University. I watched it on the flight home from my study abroad that got cut short bc of covid-19, and the story about two people whose college dreams don’t go according to plan really hit home.
