1. Alannah

Alannah put me into the fucking ground with this picture, it’s incredible! Her hair flip is just immaculately done, it’s effortless and she maintained complete control of her face. Speaking of which, she looks breathtaking; her eyes are ferocious and she hit the perfect angle for her bone structure. She totally owned the outfit as well, and it’s my favorite fashion shot of the week. Alannah killed it in this photoshoot and I firmly believe she should’ve been called first at panel for this performance.

2. Simone

To put things simply, Simone is hot af in this photo. Her face is magnificent straight on, and the balance of softness and hardness in her expression is impeccable. I love the cocky head tilt and how at ease her overall body language is, and she brought an amazing tomboy energy. Also, her hair really should be styled like this at all times. Simone continues her string of outstanding pictures!

3. Olivia

Olivia’s shot is very witchy in the best possible way. She has such piercing, hypnotic eyes that punch through like laser beams, and the way she tilted her head slightly downward really accentuates her cheekbones. It’s brilliantly simplistic photo from Olivia, and the entire thing has a retro vibe that I adore.

4. Bianca

Bianca’s portion of this shot (which is probably my overall favorite pairing of the week) is quite strong, but she would’ve fully crushed it if she had relaxed those tightly puckered lips. The tension is slightly distorting the lower half of her face, but she still photographed beautifully. Her eyes are super intense, and even though she didn’t do a ton with her body she hit her pose with power and conviction. Despite some flaws, it’s my favorite shot from Bianca so far.

5. Chloe

Chloe had nowhere to go but up and she managed to rise pretty high! Her haircut actually looks decent with this styling, she worked her dollish features very well, and I love her innocent wide-eyed stare. The hand on Olivia’s shoulder is a little too hesitant, but otherwise her reclined pose is excellent. It’s definitely one of Chloe’s stronger performances.

6. Tallulah

Tallulah’s face is so stunning in this photo. The angle and the lighting compliment her bone structure beautifully, she carried the makeup well, and her distracted face makes this seem more candid/caught in the moment. Unfortunately, her body is not as strong. The hyperextended arm is awkward, and having her hips facing forward while being thrust to the side is throwing off her proportions.

7. Eleanor

Eleanor’s shot isn’t that strong from a technical standpoint, but I still kinda like it. Other than the askew mouth, her strung out face actually somewhat works for the night club setting, and her pose is suited for the outfit and is cohesive with her partner (but that tensed hand is a big distraction). I wish her shot was better though, since she (and Alannah) were really working it on set. Since this is Eleanor’s last photo before she withdrew from the competition in the following week I’ll comment on her exit now. I’m not sure how far Eleanor could’ve gone if she had been able to stay; she definitely wasn’t a major contender at this point and I’m honestly surprised that she was asked to return the following cycle. It was sad to see Eleanor go, but at least she proved herself in Cycle 12!

8. Victoria

Victoria’s shot has a tentativeness that doesn’t work, as if she was still settling into her pose as the shot was taken. Her lips are pursed way too tightly, and while she connected with the camera her face is totally blank. I loved Victoria’s look and had high hopes for her, but her elimination made sense since she had only been successful once in four outings.
