Tim’s never actually been very lucky. In fact, you might say he’s a bit of a magnet for strange and generally unfortunate happenings. On his 28th birthday, Tim went riding with his horse, Lucky (who still hasn’t been found since the incident), fell into a stream, broke his ankle, and washed up in some random person’s backyard. As it was Tim’s birthday, this random person offered him some pie... which Tim proceeded to choke on. As this random person had no first aid training, or a phone, and lived out in the middle of nowhere, Tim unfortunately died in their living room. The poor lad.

Tim was buried on his estate, but, some three weeks later, his tombstone was struck by lightning... Strange. Even more strange, Tim was suddenly jolted back to life and forced to climb out of his own grave. The poor lad.

Being unable to return home for... obvious. reasons. Tim decided to start his own farm in the hopes of continuing his dream of being a rancher i mean a cowboy imean being a farmer.. Of course, being the only zombie farmer for miles meant that other zombies (which Tim had somehow never noticed while he was alive) took to squatting. Everywhere. Bastards even tried to eat his plants! Tim now has to frequently chase them away with a pitchfork. Also, sometimes his own limbs. And! He still can’t find Lucky. The. poor. lad.

Other than that though, Tim’s life afterlife is pretty okay! Uh, you know, excluding his occasionally uncooperative appendages and hankering for human life force..

the “farm” is actually a tiny shithole bc a bunch of dead people hang around and Tim can’t exactly move very quickly or efficiently, but he doesn’t wanna hire anyone bc he’s lowkey a control freak and... ya

still hasn’t contacted his family bc he’s worried about what they’ll do/say

really misses his little sister Franny

he desperately needs glasses but won’t get any bc he’s afraid they’ll make him look like a dork

he stole the hat from one of the zombie squatters while they were asleep

has a secret ammunition cache in his barn in case the squatters raise an army

doesn’t mind sleeping all day, he’s always preferred the moon and the stars

also he’s hella lonely and just wants to stare at the moon with someone dammit!

“You see that dude over there? That’s Gloom. Gloom Dempsey. Some call him Gloom, but most call him “the Silencer” or “McDreamy”. I know he’s hot and shit, but he’s not worth your life. That bastard works for Vladislaus Straud and you know that never works out.” 

Gloom Dempsey is a man of few words. The only person to have ever heard him speak more than three sentences is his older twin sister, Brycin (sin for short) and her girlfriend, Lux. There isn’t much information on Gloom. Nobody knows who this man is except for the fact that he’s fucking hot as hell and to never get on his bad side, especially if Vladislaus Straud puts a target on your back.

Born as an incubus, Gloom’s childhood was full of misfortune; a deadbeat father who resented him and his sister for being born, a mother who was barely ever home, and the sheer loneliness of living in a quiet dinky apartment in a sketchy neighborhood. The only person who gave him any type of attention and love was Vladislaus Straud. He was the only one that saw any potential in him and when Vlad took Gloom and Sin under his wing, he knew Vlad was the only one he could trust.

Once Gloom turned twenty-five, he was given the role of solely being Vlad’s bodyguard and right-hand man. It was also the time where he learned of Vlad’s insidious wrongdoings and how he was able to acquire such massive wealth in a span of a couple of years. Despite the moral conflict and shattering of this image he percieved of Vlad, Gloom continued to work for him. Being a hitman was all he knew. As time progressed, Gloom has become more distant with Vlad, creating a strain on their relationship. Now at thirty-five years of age, he doesn’t know if he can keep up the facade of being this emotionless robot that only does what he’s told.

Fun tidbits about Gloom Dempsey

1. “So you don’t wanna have sex? Nope. I’m satisfied. Bye.” 😒 Incubi are known for their insatiable lust, but his type of incubi are not sexually-driven. They feed on people’s life forces or emotional energy. Think Colin Robinson from What we do in the shadows, but sexy ;)

2. “My only requirement is that they have taste.” 😈 When it comes to lovers, the only thing Gloom cares for is if they’re a semi-decent person. He’s a very generous lover, both in and out of the bedroom, and is a huge believer of “actions speak louder than words.” 

3. “I guess I only have one friend if you exclude my sister.” 😐 The only true friend that Gloom really has is Sin’s girlfriend, Lux. She’s the only person besides Sin to know more than five facts about him. She’s more nurturing than Sin so Gloom goes to her for a voice of reason.

4. “Go away. I’m busy. I don’t have time for this.” 😶 It’s not like Gloom doesn’t like people. He just has HUGE trust issues after basically being abandoned by his parents. You have to work for his trust and show him that you’re not just using him because he’s close to Vlad. He also has bad social skills so please be patient with him.

5. “Manners maketh man. And a good ass suit.” 👌 Gloom’s most prized possession in the world is his collection of custom tailored suits. If you ever see him wearing a pair of sweatpants in public, please know that it’s a cry for help. I don’t think he even owns a pair of sweatpants in his closet. Also dark colors only, neon colors hurt his eyes.

6. “So what do you do? I make people sleep. Permanently.” 💀 Besides being a bodyguard for Vlad, Gloom also makes sure that any enemy of Vlad is removed. Anybody who messes with Vlad deals with him. When he was younger, he would blindly make them disappear. Nowadays, the guilt of hurting possibly innocent people has been haunting him and makes him question if he’s actually a villian.

7. “What’s brown and sticky? A stick.” 🤢 Gloom is a very simple man with a very dry sense of humor. But damn does he love himself a good old dad joke. Gloom will try his absolute best to hold in his laughter to keep face, but if it’s real good, he’ll burst into a booming laugh. He’ll start snorting and might even tear up depending on the joke.

8. “Why do they call you McDreamy? No comment.” 😴 When Gloom makes people go to “sleep”, he’ll lull them to sleep and give them sweet dreams before he absorbs their life force. Vlad thinks Gloom makes them suffer horrible nightmares and spreads tons of rumors of how Gloom will traumatize them to scare people and to give him “street cred”.

9. “Are you flirting with me? No, it’s the pheromones.” 🤤 Since he is an incubus, his pheronmones and overall scent are a huge aphrodisiac, especially for humans. When he started working at Vlad’s nightclub, people started to come just to see him. Apparently, there’s even a popular fansite of him doing mundane shit and people thirsting after him.

10. “I just want to live a simple life, but it seems impossible now” 😔 All Gloom wants is to just be able to read his favorite novels in silence, listen to true crime podcasts, and tend to his succulents in peace. He wants to be able to leisurely lounge around in his silk robe, drinking his favorite wine, and judge people through his penthouse apartment without Vlad up his ass.

TL;DR Gloom is a thirty-five year old incubus who has an affinity for stupid dad jokes and vintage suits. He hates people and wishes Vlad would stop demanding him to do all his goddamn dirty work (he’s fucking fed up Vlad). He’s a hitman, but he’ll peacefully kill you lol. He has emotions, but it’s deeply repressed and all he feels is anger or annoyance most of the time. All he wants is someone to truly love him and not treat him like shit, that’s it.

what an angsty boi lol...this took forever but here he is! He’s emotionally constipated and trying his best out in this cruel world lmao. I really hope you like him 🖤

Azure Betta for @gerbithats‘ Bo’s BC story thingy

Joke Star Aspiration • Glutton • Family-Oriented • Clumsy

Azure is a rare sewer mutant/mermaid hybrid. Like her father, the sewer mutant, she has only one form and can’t blend into the common crowd. She likes dark, damp places - like sewers. She has very good night vision and sense of smell. Azure isn’t picky about food: rotten, moldy, full of maggots, anything is fine!

From her mother she got a beautiful singing voice - underwater. If she sings surfaced she sounds like a rusty fork scratching a blackboard. She can breath underwater but she gets a headache if she stays submerged too long. Her colourful appearance definitely comes from her mother and Azure likes colourful things and pearls and seashells.

She doesn’t remember much about her early childhood but her family didn’t stay long in one place. When Azure was 7, her parents got tired of the lifestyle and each other and they left to return to their respective communities. Azure was abandoned to cope on her own because she didn’t fit in either group. The sewer mutants thought she's too flashy and the mermeople thought she's too... leggy and creepy (in a wrong way).

So, Azure made it work and survived in San Myshuno sewers. When she got older she worked in not-so-voluntary organ donating business with vampire gangs. She lured human victims into the sewers where the vampires sucked the blood and she harvested the organs and sold them in the blackmarket. The arrangement worked for years until the vampires decided they could sell the organs themselves and Azure was out of business.

Later, she has been able to make alliances - even friends - with other outcast creatures. She has started learning to read and other skills her parents failed to teach her. She hasn’t heard of them in years and doesn’t want to think about them.

At one point in her life, she crossed paths with an albino bat. Or was it just some white bat?

Alaysia is a 23-year-old Swedish Elf-Vampire hybrid whose life got really fucked up last year when she was attacked and stabbed on her way to a local coffee shop (her incident made the local news) ... as well as other things she keeps hidden for her own personal journals. Her past has haunted her for a while and she turned to the arts to help her rise above these scarring events.

Having never really known her parents, Alaysia was raised in a series of foster homes. She was left near an alleyway in the middle of winter, when a local gas station employee found her and alerted authorities.  Nowadays, she lives with friends..jumping place to place.

Alaysia is very clumsy but really wants to find herself a partner..someone to allow herself to feel secure. Her artistic abilities allow her to express better emotions and having worked on herself so hard for the past year..she is ready to find the one!

Ignacio Alveraz, a demon in vampire skin. He’s a savage man who is the leader of his own syndicate in Forgotten Hollow. He’s got a competitive streak that’s a mile wide, and a vicious mind. Nobody really knows his past because he keeps it under tight wraps and it takes a lot for him to open up. He’s got a habit of hooking up and dropping them a week later. 

Born a human some odd years ago, he can’t quite remember, Ignacio died in a fire that plagued his town and took the lives of many. Next thing he knew, he woke up in a coffin, the soft tones of someone’s voice drifting above him. He burst through the dirt to find himself at the feet of a young woman with hair made of fire. Confused and unable to remember who he was, he was given the name Ignacio by the woman. She was his “mother”, the woman who had raised him to become her bodyguard. She taught him to wield his ability to manipulate fire, and sent him on jobs to “collect” from those who had wronged her. 

When she died, he traveled and found himself in Del Sol Valley, learning the streets and the dark alleyways of the crime world. He joined a gang for a while, left them by faking his own death and moved on to Forgotten Hollow. Now, he’s a big shot among criminals.

michael’s therapist always reiterates the fact that his passive personality and his need to fix everyone does more harm than good, because it invites people who always end up hurting him. then again, he also keeps telling him that vampires don’t exist and that’s a load of crap. what does he know, right?

(DEEP SIGH) ok so MICHAEL was raised the only child of a typical catholic family, extremely devout and adamant in their values. michael grew up afraid. of what? well, everything really. any little thing can condemn you to eternal damnation, according to his grandma. she used to say that they named him after an angel so he’d always be protected, but angels did nothing when his parents found out he was gay and kicked him out of the house at seventeen.

since then, he has been roaming everywhere and anywhere, wherever his feet take him and scraping to get by. despite everything that’s happened to him he’s kind and caring, or at least he tries his best to be. if his soul is already doomed for eternity, why not help the rest? he lives through other people, feeling an inherent need to fix everyone; to ease their load to a point where he’s all darkness so that others can be light. it’s not like anyone cares about him, so what’s the harm? if he dies, he dies.

his blessing and his curse is that he’s painfully unaware of his surroundings, always ending up in danger without even realizing. he’s been witness to crimes, walked the underground and made friends with mob bosses without having a clue. his humanity makes him an unknowing pawn, a blood bag and nothing more.

that’s how he met bo’s gang, the same night he got the scars on his face by being in the wrong place at the wrong time; but instead of frightening him, the whole ordeal just made him obsessed with the supernatural, yearning in a strange way for a place to belong. a pack, where who he /is/ doesn’t matter, where blood (no pun intended) is thicker than water, where the people he loves won’t leave him. even though they do… they always do.
