Happy National Radio Day! I’ve been listening to the radio since I was a kid. Never did I think I would be working among some of the greats! It all started at Fullerton College’s 90.1FM KBPK. Learning from KBPK got me hired at KOST 103.5 and KBIG 104 (now 104.3 MYfm) in June 2005. From there, I was also able to work at 10.7 KIIS-FM, Star 98.7 (now Alt 98.7), Hot 92.3 (now Real 92.3), and at KFI-AM 640 (for one week.) I’ve been blessed to work with some of the greats in Los Angeles radio, many of whom I listened to growing up. It takes a lot more than just talking on the radio to make radio go. It also takes a lot of talented people behind the scenes to make it all work too. I’ve been in radio coming on 20 years, and I’m forever grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given.
