"But it's hard..." channeling my inner Maddie while running off of three hours of sleep for the past 48 hours.
I just got back from a three day voyage... which I have learned how much I enjoy stars, how to navigate from 3 different compasses, how to do shots for an anchor, climbing aloft while underway (which is scary as shit but soooo much fun), and also how much I hate high schoolers. We barely had less than 48 hours to do not one but both irving and exy johnson for the boat parade. Which entitles us rigging lights up and down the entire fucking boats. Which we have to take all down on irving for tomorrow (east coast it will be today)8 day voyage. Which I will be participating in! I'm more than over joyful to participate in. I can not wait to get back out into the seas and see not only Santa Barbara but Santa Cruz. Ocean, sea and stars. I've seen now 8 shooting stars and the moon rise over mountain tops. Beautiful and breathe taking honestly. I also swung off the course sheet into crystal blue water, with sea lions, and dolphins swimming about. Talk about beautiful. Although not all was amazing due to sea sickness (which I took helm during). I would not trade anything in the world for being out there. (Okay maybe to have cap with me.) Now on to our boat parade. Poor exy wound up with engine trouble and we had to cut the parade short, but not short enough to fire our cannons off (which was fucking epic! Swiveled and 6 pound cannons) So I'm bitter sweet about leaving my baby in such utter shape. I'll be back to tend to her soon after my sea adventure. I won't be back to voyage till January (if I don't go see cap for his birthday which I may just have to make a trip and surprise him for his birthday). That's all for now. My boat bites are large and I'm getting salter by the minute.
Cap and I have decided to move in together. He brought thiss up to me since this has been on his mind for a while. hes so excited and as am I. The cutest part of it al Is that he finds enjoymentt of me being out here and loving it.
Ahh this guy man. makes my heart skip beats while being miles away. I love him.<3<3
