Boat prep weekend #1: Taking down the frame & tarp and wiping her down…

Part of the frame broke over the winter so we’ll have to get that repaired. We also think this tarp is a goner, since it ripped in a few spots. The boat was FILTHY. We swabbed it a few times but it may take a time or two more to get all the grime out. There was still a few small snowbanks between some of the boats and we used them to chill our beers.

We had our first Georgian Bay Sunset of the year, spent some time with Tasi - one of the best boat dogs - and painted the bottom of the boat.

Got myself a sweet new hoodie at the marina today. It's so soft and cozy, which is good, cause it's been a cold weekend - it's actually snowing right now... Also: Got myself a hoagie! Been craving one since we first started talking about boat prep! All in all, not a terrible boat weekend, even if we didn't get much work done and the boat isn't even in the water yet!
