Spent the last hour making a special post thanking everyone for making Dashing Through Downtown so amazing! The post is lost in cyberspace. So here is the cliff notes version... My birthday twins, Madisun & Josh (today is their birthdays) worked so hard to get everything ready ready. Madisun’s mom, Alicia brought all her great ideas and helped customers in any way possible. My young women Christina, Ashlyn, & Eliza who are all such sweet, beautiful, & talented young ladies. We are so thankful to God for you all! We pray every day the shop has a greater purpose. Harvest Festival is going to be Amazing!! The city is expecting their biggest turnout yet for the 57th Annual Harvest Festival! Grab some food from the one of the food vendors, go to The Courtyard on Main (located at the end of South Main St. beside the gas board building), sit at one of the picnic tables under Edison lights admiring the flowers and greenery, while having your ears and hearts serenaded by one of our favorite local musicians @chad.steed. Before you leave to shop, be sure to take a picture at the butterfly mural and check out all of the art by our amazing local artist @suzannevann. Chad Steed performed at Dollywood for four years, gigs all over North Alabama and Tennessee, and will be performing at The Courtyard on Friday from 2-6 and Saturday from 10-12 & 2-4. We can’t wait to see everyone browsing the streets enjoying time together in an atmosphere of love, fellowship, and community.
