Disney Branded Television Orders Third "Phineas And Ferb" Movie Ahead Of Season Five Finale.

What if Phineas And Ferb..... never met? Disney Branded Television has greenlit a third Phineas And Ferb movie for Disney Channel and Disney+.

The announcement was made today by Ayo Davis (Disney Branded Television and Disney Television Animation VP of Development and Current) ahead of the season finale set to premiere tomorrow on Disney Channel at 7:30PM EST with a next day premiere on Disney+.

In the new movie: “Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s latest time‑travel-inator backfires, erasing the moment Linda Flynn and Lawrence Fletcher met — meaning the boys and Candace never became family and every day is merely adequate. As reality unravels and the future hangs in the balance, Phineas, Ferb and the gang must restore the timeline before it’s too late.

The third Phineas And Ferb movie will be directed by Bob Bowen ("Phineas And Ferb", "Milo Murphy's Law", "Hamster & Gretel", Disney TVA Pilot "Weird Waters"), Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur co-showrunners Kate Kondell and Jeffrey M. Howard will serve as screenwritters with creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh as executive producers trought Disney Television Animation.

The order for the new movie comes ahead of the sucessful launch of the revival as it garnered over 600M views worldwide across the second half of 2025.

The new Phineas And Ferb film becomes the sixth DCOM overall behind "Kim Possible The Movie: So The Drama", "The Proud Family Movie", "Phineas And Ferb The Movie: Across The Second Dimension", "Tangled Before Ever After" and "Big City Greens: The Movie: Spacecation". Additionaly "Phineas And Ferb" ain't the only new animated DCOM in the works as there's rumbings and early talks about "Kiff" also getting the potential movie treatment in the future.

"The Simpsons Movie 2" And Third "Phineas And Ferb" Lands California Tax Credits As California's Goverment Will Fund More Animation Projects.

California is pushing to bring animation production back to the state, with a new round of tax credits that now includes animated features alongside live-action projects. California has awarded tax credits to 38 film projects through its expanded Film & Television Tax Credit Program, including "The Simpsons Movie 2" from 20th Century Animation/20th Television Animation/Gracie Films and the third "Phineas And Ferb" film from Disney Television Animation marking one of the first rounds to include animated features alongside big-budget and productions.

Animated feature films were eligible for the first time in the program's history, with three projects selected from DreamWorks Animation, 20th Century Studios, and Disney Television Animation. "The Simpsons 2" is set to receive $21.9 million in tax credits, while "Phineas And Ferb 3" has been allocated about $3.5 million.

"The Simpsons 2 and the other animated features are projected to deliver $144 million in qualified expenditures throughout the state. In total, the 38 studio projects will create over $800 million injection into California’s economy." CFC.

The Legislature voted last year to include animated projects (TV and Film) in the program for the first time, as it more than doubled the overall expenditure to $750 million per year. Other projects selected was the upcoming "Family Guy" spin-off "Stewie" from 20th Television Animation and Adult Swim's "President Curtis" a spin-off of "Rick and Morty"

Congratulations to Amber Spillman in returning to Disney Television Animation as Color Designer for the third "Phineas And Ferb" film.

Spillman worked as Color Designer in "The Owl House" and "Hailey's On It!". Other work includes the "Beavis & Butthead" revival at Titmouse Inc, "No The Time To Spy: A Loud House Movie" at Nickelodeon Animation Studios and "Ted: The Animated Series" at Dreamworks Animation Television.

Congratulations to the talented Kenzie Holmquist ("The Owl House", "Hamster & Gretel") in being promoted as Production Manager for the third "Phineas And Ferb" movie.

Holmquist recently worked as Production Supervisor for "Phineas And Ferb" Season 5 and Season 6.
