The thing I hated most about voltron is how they treated lance, in gargle waffle snick the “all-knowing god” repeatedly called him dumb despite the fact that he’s not. He is from Cuba but doesn’t have an accent which means (I’m guessing) that he’s well practiced and fluent in English and he was also in a military-like school. Which he clearly needed to have good grades in. And he is good at thinking on his feet (shielding coran from the crystal, when he stopped Keith from hurting the ballmera,etc) he deserves more and even when he was chosen by Keith everyone just laughed at the fact that he didn’t want to be stuck with him. Do you know what that must have felt like? Choosing someone to save and saying how much you believe in them despite their “rivalry” and then they choose you and you get all hopeful and then they just hurt you? They talk trash to your face and the people you consider friends and family just agree.

TLDR:in this house we hate bob and love lance
