Today I say that literally.

There is an ice cream shop across the street and god damn it that chicken deserves his brownie sundae and there is not a single vehicle in the world that will stop him!

you know, from a biological standpoint, chickens are not sapient like humans are; that is, they are not aware of or curious about their surroundings unless it pertains to food or danger. A chicken runs on instincts, it has no "intent", ergo the question "WHY did the chicken cross the road" is fallacious, as it assumes the chicken knows what a road is and is making a conscious choice to cross it. A chicken has no concept of roads, it can no more choose to cross one than you or I could choose to "cross" an invisible scent trail only animals can perceive. We're not aware of it and we don't care, we are simply walking in a straight line.

TL;DR chicken don't give a shit.
