Did you know that Union Jack (the flag of Great Britain) is NOT symmetrical?
I did not, anon! Except this cannot be unseen for me now.For those of you who have not seen this, note St. George's cross (the big red cross in the middle). This is symmetrical, but before you get ahead of yourself and go "YEAH, IT'S SYMMETRICAL AND SO IS THE REST OF THE FLAG. GOSH," you must also note the placement of the St. Patrick's cross and St. Andrew's cross, which comprise the "X" behind St. George's cross.
CRAZY, RIGHT?
Although, anon, I must say, you've made someone super ultra happy today.
Meet a poorly-drawn visual representation of a cartoon named Bobbob:
Bobbob, despite being born with a very symmetrical name, was born with her left arm and leg exchanged for one another.
She has endured criticism her entire cartoon life for being asymmetrical, and she has always been afraid that she would never have the kind of romance that one finds in Disney movies.
Then, I told her about Union Jack's triumph.
This dude, despite being asymmetrical, not only represents the beauty and strength of the entire United Kingdom, but he's also so sexy that you tend to find him adorning the walls of numerous kids' walls (even in countries outside of the U.K. -- especially America), and rock stars' guitars, and all sorts of other awesomely hip things.
He's so confident and strong that I bet the vast majority of us didn't even freaking know that he was asymmetrical -- obviously, I didn't.
I told Bobbob to take a page from Jack's book, and you know what?
Now, Bobbob and Jack have their own happy, asymmetrical Disney romance goin' on!*
Yay, Bobjack! Or Jackbob! :D
* Let it be known that this is not -- in any way, shape, or form -- meant to be taken metaphorically. The real Union Jack has more pressing matters to attend than romancing an asymmetrical cartoon named Bobbob, nor do I mean that the entire United Kingdom is romancing an asymmetrical cartoon named Bobbob. Bobbob probably bought a replica Union Jack somewhere, and the chemistry must have been unprecedented. That being said, this is a silly post, and none of this is meant to be taken seriously. Any similarities to any persons, living or dead, is merely coincidental. So, if you know an asymmetrical woman named Bobbob with her left arm and leg interchanged who also happens to be dating a living flag, perhaps you should lay off the LSD.
