10) How does your OC handle their mental health? Do they take care of themselves?

Ooohhhh Bobbug doesn't tend to think about that kind of stuff. If they feel sad they usually assume they aren't busy enough and decide to go do something like a craft or take their cats for a walk,,, or theres something they aren't taking care of and they try to identify what that is and fix it.

They don't think about mental health how we usually do, I guess? They do take care of themself though! Their philosophy surrounding negative feelings that impact their functionality is pretty similar to the 'if you feel like everyone hates you, sleep. If you feel like you hate everyone, eat. If you feel like you hate yourself, shower." train of thinking.

20) If they fight, what's their weapon of choice?

Bobbug is not a fighter. Squishy creature, prefers love and peace on planet Alternia. Or simply running. That being said, as mentioned here, when cornered, their toe claws can cause some nasty damage and they are a biter. I suppose they might be pretty good with a small spear but that's for hunting really, not fighting.

Bobbug, what is the most disgusting thing you've ever eaten? And what is the most delicious?

Bobbug tilts their head in thought, recalling something.

"There was a time when a batch of shells from the river weren't stored properly. I was young and troublesome and I snuck one before anyone noticed they had gone bad. My punishment was a very rancid taste but at least it was me who found out and no one else got sick."

They shiver at the memory, teeth clicking together unpleasantly. They turn their thoughts to the second part of the question.

"As for something that was rather good..." They take only a second to think before smiling. "Bread. The soft and fluffy kind that is made sweet somehow. That with butter. Incredible."

They would very much like some bread now.

At some point in all the chaos of the night a very kind soul managed to gift Bobbug some pants. Their shackles have been broken. It is time.

"I think it's -safe- to say Ash and Crystal are here to stay. Slither is not as bonded to me or Navy as his siblings are, though. So if someone came along with the-means-to-care-for-him and he liked them I would not keep the two apart."

"I would like if they were in the neighborhood, though. These three are my only younglings for now so I would like to keep them close. In-case-they-need-me."

"Ash is doing-very-well. She -assists- me in my studying and is also very soft. Her brother and sister still live with us. I believe Navy has taken-a-liking-to-Crystal, aswell."

Bobbug loves you back

🦋 - Bobbug was, unsurprisingly, inspired by bugs! Specifically concepts like mimicry and parasites. On paper Bobbug's lusus is a Nymph. I chose it because of the name being a reference to forest nymphs and also because it is the immature stage of the bug that mostly stays in water. Bobbug wasn't really raised by the Lusus, more like beside it.

🔋- Bobbug likes to crochet! They mostly just make the little squares but they are currently working on a bag.

👤 - Bobbug's most noticable body language is xer head tilting. They do it when confused or curious or when they need to see something slightly differently. It can be slight or very extreme and it's usually only their head that moves. Very inquisitive creature!
