Bobby Malone Leaves Home - Casiotone for the Painfully Alone

About a month ago I was contacted by Bobby Malone

 For those of you who are unfamiliar with him, he is the man that randomly came across OMAM while on his trip to Iceland back in August, 2011 after hearing them play Little Talks during their sound check. Because of him, OMAM got airplay on the radio in Philadelphia, which eventually lead to them getting signed by Universal after they took notice of how much attention they were getting from listeners. Bobby was kind enough to share some stuff with me and gave me permission to share them with you all.

This is Bobby Malone and his daughter hanging out with OMAM after their free Radio 104.5 Summer Block Party show in Philadelphia back in July. He also got to introduce them as they were about to go on stage:

OMAM also gave him a personalized signed setlist :)

Really glad he randomly came across OMAM that day and made it possible for them to get a start here in the states. Thanks Bobby! :)

Isn't it an amazing/tricky feeling when you realize two songs you enjoy are actually the same song?

Today I realized that "Imagine" by John Lennon and "Bobby Malone Moves Home" by Casiotone for the Painfully Alone are incredibly similar sounding when you listen to the opening/main piano riffs on both...
