#BobbyPens2016Rewind • Time is winding down and 2016 is almost outta here. I'm dropping my final highlights before a nap & night of celebration, but not without another attempt at motivating the person out here doubting them self. My career in media began when I was 13, but I started my blog after college in 2010. Over the years my brand has shifted and my platform has grown tremendously, and I'm very grateful for progress. It's crazy to think some little black girl from D.C. adopted and raised by a single mother avoided tons of statistics, beat the odds and made a splash in one of the most competitive fields around. I've still got a long way to go to recognize my full vision, but I'm leaps and bounds beyond where I imagined myself as a fresh college grad. I love how God gives us more than we can ever ask or think when simply activate our faith, roll up or sleeves and get to work. I never really intended for my blog to become what it has, but I'm loving this journey in media! I'm humbled by all of my supporters-- everyone who double taps photos, reads & shares my blog posts, subscribe to my YouTube channel, tells a friend about my work and the publicists who keep me on their distro lists lol Thank you all for helping to keep me motivated to keep climbing. I'm looking forward to what 2017 has to offer. I'm expecting great things: life changing opportunities, more dreams come true and huge success. I hope you'll continue to be a part of my story, but if you choose to go on your way please go knowing that you can have whatever it is you want too with a little bit of faith in God's promises and a whole lot of hustle.
