Slumping in your chair at work expresses that you are not energetic and not excited about the work you are doing. Managers give new interesting projects to people who they fell will be passionate about completing projects. While slumping in a chair may be a comfortable position for you the lack of proper posture in a chair does not accurately portray your interest for the job.
