Some images from A Perception Feeding installation and performance at BODEGA Gallery.
A Perception Feeding is based on Merleau-Ponty's articulation of perception in The Primacy of Perception and Marx's writing on capital: "Capital is stored up labor. Capital is stored up to be employed." It entails five performers, a new video, and a live projected feed of the performance. Using different methods of perceiving through the dynamic between audience, video projection and performer – the piece explores the fictional quality of money, its (in)visibility, and the presence of greed and necessity.
