In Tibetan culture #vultures are revered. They are hidden #bodisattvas cleaning up all the decaying corpses left behind. It is a great service. They never kill for the food they eat. Most all beings besides #scavangers kill for their food, even if we eat only vegetables, many beings die. So vultures are truly to be admired. But normally they are looked at as the lowest of the low, something vile and disgusting. Things aren’t always what they seem. I love the vultures they perch in the tree by my house, greeting me in the morning, with me all the time. So silent, watching, being. So many companions for a #meditator in these woods. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7OxPloho5a/?igshid=1ry2i8ebdb7jz
