Ugh. I'd really love a new cocktail dress or two, and shopping online seems like a nice way to spend some of my suddenly-abundant downtime, but between muscle loss (my arms are already visibly smaller 😢) and a rapid switch to an extremely sedentary lifestyle, I have no idea what shape my body will be when I can actually get up and wear them...

I can definitely tell that I am growing wider. I am constantly bumping my shoulders into things and need to be more aware of my surroundings so I don't. Fucking hot! Bodybuilder problems am I right?!

Latest update on the exercise front: I’ve been focusing more on cardio/strength building workouts lately, and as a result my flexibility’s been suffering—to the point where I was starting to get sciatic pain in my hips. So recently I signed up for a subscription with The Collective (a local teacher-run co-op) and have been making good use of their on-demand and live content.

And then today, this shows up in the mail. Talk about timing! 🍑 🧘🏻‍♀️ 💕

I realize the irony of me saying this but FFS I think what I miss most about pandemic times is regular massages

like right now you could bounce a quarter off my trapezius muscle, and not because I’m flexing it

heating pads and meditation and foam rolling only go so far.  especially when your two primary coping mechanisms involve either repetitively lifting heavy things, or sitting hunched over a computer for hours.
