#Repost @thebibleofbodymod with @get_repost ・・・ Roland Loomis, meglio conosciuto come Fakir Musafar (1930-2018), è stato un artista e uno dei principali pionieri del movimento dei “Primitivi moderni”, un gruppo di persone particolarmente appassionate dell’aspetto ritualistico e primitivo della modificazione corporea. Alcune interessanti prove delle sue pratiche si possono trovare nel documentario “Dances Sacred & Profane” (1985), nel film “Body of God” (2013) e nel libro “Modern Primitives” (1986). Ha anche contribuito a sviluppare molte delle tecniche che oggi si conoscono nel mondo del Body Piercing moderno, oltre che praticare altri tipi di modificazione corporea. Importanti eventi tenuti da lui sono stati anche i suoi “Fakir intensives”. Un interessante aspetto per cui è conosciuto è la sua vita molto stretta, precisamente 35,56 centimetri. Dichiara di avere le sue prime visioni di altri mondi e di essere interessato al mondo della modificazione corporea fin dai suoi primi anni di vita. Lui crede che “Primitivi moderni” si nasca, non si diventi e che le esperienze che vengono vissute nei primi anni di vita aprano le porte a ciò che è già dentro di noi. Estremamente affascinante è la sua idea che con la pratica si possa distaccare il proprio corpo dalla propria coscienza ed essere in grado di non provare dolore durante quello che lui chiama body play. Play with my brain.

Start by running your fingers through my very fine hair, slowly, gently, meticulously, letting every hair part ways.

Then drag your fingers down the back of my neck, paying attention to the singular vertebrae that protrudes past the others.

Use both hands to run parallel lines down my spine, touching every rib, every line running perpendicular to my spinal column.

Find my tail bone, that hides between mounds of muscle and flesh, the dimple that exists at the top, large enough to place your gentle finger into and pull me closer.

Explore my hip bones, as they are so oft used for movement, but are not used near enough for caressing and kissing and nibbling.

If you pay attention to my hip bones, you'll find my navel and my very soft tummy, the curves and stretch marks that make me beautifully unique.

Find me. Every little place that makes me who I am. Every little place that begs to be touched and held and caressed and adored.

But first, before all of this, you must play with my brain, for it is the key to the rest of my universe.
