Sandwich Maker #329 - Boerwurst
I have featured this sausage in the past, with a brief description of what it is.
It is very easy to cook on the sandwichmaker. Just place it onto the papered hotplate, cover with another piece of baking paper and cook for around 5 minutes.
When. I checked the progress of the sausage, i saw that my husband had placed two pieces of turkish bread onto the paper to be heated up. The great thing about this type of cooking is that by using the paper, you don’t have any cross contamination of flavours or juices.
Cleaning up is also a breeze, as you just throw away the paper, and wipe down the hotplate if needed.
