not a ton to say here. i wanted to try drawing some mushrooms and other plants, from both TES and outside of it. this was also an exercise in restricted palette and composition.

Postage stamp tattoo designs for a mail art friend!! First one features bog beacon mushrooms, second is the bog copper, a butterfly that only lives in cranberry bogs!
Close shots of the very cutely named swamp beacon [Mitrula elegans], a pretty little fungus found scattered throughout marshes and bogs. This fungus rarely exceeds a single centimeter in height. Images taken in Plumas National Forest, California, by Ron Wolf.

Bog Beacon fungi, they really do resemble little beacons! This was just above a waterfall in a pasture in Snowdonia.
