Just me posing with @bogdanraczynski at the airport!!! I had the great pleasure of being invited to Houston to watch Bogdan Raczynski perform with my best friend Eric, to whom I met on youtube back in 2007 whilst doing my biweekly routine of looking for any new content of Bogdan on youtube. this is absolutely mind blowing to me. I dunno why, but Bogdan has always been a man of mystery to me being that there isn’t much info on him online which is kind of pain in the ass because when I like something I become completely enamored and obsessed with whatever I am fixated on. bogdan is a man of a million melodies with a childlike nostalgic vibe to them. his album My love I Love is my most played album by him. I usually listen to that album when I am depressed or heart broken . . . which happens a lot. It’s like my comfort album. It has been the soundtrack to many tear soaked pillow sessions. bogdan is the main influence behind my Cutecore sound. I wanted to compose cute music that was hard with sounds of breakcore and chiptune and my only reference was bogdan. I had the absolute pleasure of having dinner with bogdan and this was all possible to my longtime good friend Skymall @eddie_e_p (thank you kind sir for making eric and I’s dream come true) I still can’t believe it, I can’t wrap my head around the fact that I got to meet an IDM Superstar. I want to scream about it. I want to tell the whole world that I had the pleasure of meeting one of my favorite musicians that brings me comfort. it was very nerve racking for eric and I not to just blurt out how much we admire bogdan with in his presence. I can tell you that bogdan is a well reserved gentleman and very approachable. the highlights of meeting sir bogdizzle was when he bought me a beer and gave me a hug. I really can’t get over it. I just hope I have another opportunity to interact with bogdan in person again sometime soon this truly was a dream come true. the only musician I need to check off my favorite list now is Aphex Twin, Shlohmo and Daniel Johnston. #BogdanRaczynski #Rephlex #Braindance #IDM #Breakcore
