#bohisattva was the theme of today’s #dailycalm #meditation. I dug it, and not just because of the #PointBreak reference (the original is one of my favorite movies). 🌎 It’s the idea that the person who meditates regularly and improve their lives also improve the lives of those around them. The benefits of meditation do not only help the mindset and #mindfulness of the meditator, but also everyone he or she comes into contact with. Some people feel selfish when they do things like meditate, thinking that it’s time meant only for themselves. I find that to be a little too much guilt to put on oneself. I am a firm believer that things you do to improve your self with honesty and integrity will also benefit the whole world. 💪🏻 That’s the entire purpose behind practices like @movnat as well: “être fort pour être utile” is the motto of its godfather, George Hebert.
