Sandalwood, frankincense, myrrh,
everyone always says those are staples
when it comes to incense sticks.
I offer the Netjeru these of Nippon Kodo brands,
as they are ritually pure and are potent despite
their small sizes.
I ask for bravery and endurance for the remainder
of this year of 2026
because I sincerely sense I'm going to need it.
Sekhmet is my warmth,
Ma'at is my innermost light,
Bast is my desperate optimism.
Het-heru is my capability for love,
Anpu is my acceptance of what I cannot control,
Sutekh is my ability to come out on the other side.
You and all the rest I didn't name,
I need all of You for my survival,
but I shouldn't forget I need myself as well.
I must recognize that I have my own power
that's bolstered by all of Yours.
