#BohoSAL with @wildboho! I'm using Folk Song fabric by Anna Marie Horner for FreeSpirit Fabrics! Of course I'm using Aurifloss! I am just lovely this Sew Along and the opportunity to embellish gorgeous fabric with stitches! Oh my! What a dream - I feel like I'm designing with Anna Marie Horner! It took me awhile to decide what fabric to use to freestyle boho embroidery on. But when I saw this Anna Marie Horner piece, I knew I had found it! The BohoSAL is all year long and hosted by @wildboho Nichole Vogelsinger. She has a book called Boho Embroidery that I ordered from Amazon. The book just has lots of eye candy, techniques, etc... So each Sunday I will post current progress of the embroidery that I do on this piece. We shall see what it will evolve to become. Not only do I love Anna Marie Horner fabrics but to add embroidery to the fabric is just heavenly. I will use this as decor to hoop or maybe to embellish a bag to carry around. I'm not sure... Do you have any ideas? Have you embroidered without a pattern before? I like this style of embroidery where you don't have to keep looking down at a pattern and count stitches. This is new for me. Is this new to you? Or have you made things like this? Are you participating in the BohoSAL? Do you appreciate Anna Marie Horner's style too? This is my first video like this...
